Does anybody else hear phantom Huntress humming at the start of the match?
Been getting a lot of Huntresses recently, but sometimes I’ll be repairing a gen at the very beginning of a match (before I know who the Killer is) and I think I hear Huntress humming in the distance but it’s a different Killer. Anybody else?

Yeah, I can also hear Spirit phasing across the map. This is without the add-on prayer beads btw.

I find myself thinking this mainly on the Yamaoka maps. Not sure if it is some combination of ambient sounds or I’m just going crazy.

Always, that horrible woman just like to torment me even when she not really there lol. But yes I do think I'm hearing her sometimes, when she isn't even in the match, its odd

I can hear Freddy teleporting. The wind sound picks up.

I always hear that phantom Meg exhaling very loudly at random spots on the maps.

Yes, sometimes I'll hear phantom Huntress humming or phantom Freddy lullaby.

Yup, especially if I just had a match with them before. I'm sure there's some sciencey thing to explain why but heck if I know.

Yea all the time. I would somehow hear Huntress or Demo but it'll be a completely different killer.

After some googling is seems like this is a type of Game Transfer Phenomena where you'll still hear noises even if they're not there. This is normally only applied after a gaming session is over but I don't see why it wouldn't work from one match to another. It probably has a different name tied to it but it seems like a similar phenomena.
I also read a thing where our brains will look for patterns when it comes to sounds so when we get into a game and hear the standard music, our brain will try and fill in more details for us and we end up hearing sounds that aren't there such as huntress lullaby, freddy singing, etc because we've heard them before in relation to the sound stimulant.
I only did a quick google so I don't know how correct some of this is so if somebody more knowledgeable could fill in the blanks or even correct me, that'd be wonderful.
