Better on pc than ps4? I may switch.
I'm a console player. But I'm thinking of switching to pc. I became much better as a player recently and I think players on pc are simply better at every level but this is just a supposition. 2nd big reason, the insanely long queues times on ps4+ all the bs. I also think it's better on pc!
Please talk to me about your experiences so I can make a clear choice.

If you’re good on console, you’ll be good on PC. The game definitely runs smoother, but bugs still exist and bs like getting hit through a dropped palled happens.
If you don’t have the PC yet, don’t buy it for this game. I have a feeling this year will have a roller coaster of changes and you’ll be better if waiting to see what happens.

Queue times are probably just as bad on PC. Killer queues in the daytime are 2-5 minutes. Killer is usually instant after 4-5pm. Survivor queues both solo and SWF are 2-10 minutes at all times for me on PC (Southeaster USA).

I'm thinking of switching to pc too. The only reason holding me back is my progress on PS4. All killers p3 50 over 800 hours of play time. If and when cross-progressing becomes a thing then I'll switch.

I already own a good pc. Alright so from what you say buying the game seems to be worth it.

That one person yes. The others pointed out that queue times on pc and bug existence is basically the same. It just runs better.

For me, EU, it's 5-30mins 45 night time. Solo and swf both. 30 because there's errors very often forcing to create another lobby...

Yes I had the same thoughts. Restarting all over to get my perks back? I think it's worth it I still have my ps4

I didn't get much answers but from the numbers I got, queues times seems 2x shorter on pc. 2-10mins anytime? That's a dream.

I remember a year or more ago, survivor lobbies on console took about 2-5 minutes. On PC it was under 30 seconds. Killer queue's on any platform was 5-15 minutes.

I came from Xbox to PC. The main reason why I switched is because of Nurse, I wanted to see what she was like when she was used at her full potential. Since I've switched to PC I prefer the PC community. Better games, community and games run so much smoother on PC

Those are pretty good times. On PS4, as survivor, sometimes I only get 2 games in 1 1/2 hours. The long wait times occur more so than not especially at night time.

Not to be a d*ck, but if I was getting 2 games in 1.5 hours, I'd be playing a different game. If lobby queue's are more than 5-10 minutes, I would not play that game. Not just this game, any game. That's way too much time to ask. I think 30 seconds to 2 minutes is a reasonable amount to wait, more than that you are trying your customer's patience. After 5 minutes on a regular basis, I'm thinking somethings wrong or the game is dead. 5-10 minutes, you better be fixing something quick or I'm gonna shelve your game if this is the norm. Just my feelings about it.
I enjoy this game, but I won't except a lobby simulator from any game.
If a significant amount of people are waiting this long, they have worse problems than I realized.

Sorry, I should have clarified. 2 games in 1 1/2 hours is in a 2 man SWF game so I guess the wait times are expected to be longer.
I get what you are saying and I have considered going to play another game. I guess I just don’t want to give up on dbd yet. If I have people to talk to or things to do in between then it’s not so bad.

I applaud your patience. I couldn't do it, at least not on any kind of regular basis. Luckily, 5 minutes is the long side for me he majority of the time. 2-5 minutes average. I almost always play Solo. I guess I need to fire up the consoles and see if it's way worse there or if it's just a regional thing that you are experiencing. I'm by no means super close to the server. I think the one on the east cost is approximately 600 miles from me.

As long as you have a decent set up. There's a some advantages to PC,but a good player is a good player. I started on PC and went to PS4. I'll probably go back when I get a new card and a repair. I'd keep in mind,if you aren't familiar with keyboard and mouse controls, most of those advantages go out the window. You'll still be on controller, still have roughly the same queue times, and you might have other issues to contend with, software or otherwise. The higher level players can be just as good as on PC,they just don't have the fluidity and range of movement, making some "strategies" not viable on console.
