Would a co-op event work for a community this separated?
I was just wondering: What would happen if an event that required cooperation between survivors and killers do when we all know how each side hates the other?
Not actually asking or demanding an event like this. But hypothetically speaking... would this actually fix some of the very toxic environment that grew so much from the time the game was released?

I doubt it very much. Since so many people are complaining over the Ruin update, and the fact Survivors are spending upto 10 minutes waiting, Killer goals wouldn't get done. I'd like to see this kind of event for sure, but the current state of sides, it wouldn't go too well

Way back in the day, long before any themed events were made in DBD, there were community events where we had to do a certain X action some Y thousands of times collectively. The reward was a skin for everyone who participated. These challenges were usually complimentary, one of the challenges being where Survivors had to throw pallets, and Killers had to break them. They were fun challenges, because they only lasted 24 hrs, and everyone usually wanted to get the challenge done, so the community worked together to accomplish the two separate goals.

I mean I would do it happily, I love playing a friendly Demo now and then :)
Killer is an absurdly stressful role compared to survivor, so It's actually nice to have things to just take you out of the try hard mode for a bit.
As survivor they are almost always down for something like that, or farming, or whatever, as long as they are not so new they can't read the signals you are trying to do that.
I think it could work fine, I just don't think BHVR would want to do that because it kinda mitigates the games main objective/gameplay.
