Did they finally fix the audio?

I'm working at the moment so can't check myself, but this right here from the patch notes caught my attention:

"Misc audio adjustments and improvements."

Is that what I'm hoping it is? Are footsteps fixed? Can we actually hear footsteps again?

    Of course not. They say they improved it not fixed it. So still consider them as broken

    They probably won’t, too many new survivors hate facing Spirit, so this bug helps with making sure she’s not seen too often.
