Doctor needs a nerf.
To how much he can royally ######### your frame rate on PS4. I have a Pro and set my games to run smoother, but goddamn.... Its like I was playing the game as a GIF. This happened after I used Static Blast a few times and Popped a few gens.
Edit: Anyone else having this same issue playing as Doc? I don't have it when facing him however.

In the patch notes it says that if you are using a cosmetic from Doc's Hallowed Blight and Mental Patient sets it could cause some performance issues. If you happen to be wearing those, switch them out and see if that fixes anything. If not, your best bet would be to ask Peanits.

No this has nothing to do with what the OP is talking about.
Doctor is a walking frame drop. It's the same thing on Xbox. Even as survivor the game lag horribly.
We need optimization on consoles very badly, ESPECIALLY when it comes to Doc (new or old).
And yes my platform can easily handle it. I can play Gears 5 in 4k at 60fps with little to no performance issues on my Xbox One X. That's better than most PC rigs can even do.
It's not the platform that is the problem, it's the game and devs lack of support for consoles.

Have you only had this issue with new Doc? If so, then what cosmetics are you using? The patch notes mention that there's known issue with a couple of his cosmetics.
Frame rate issues occur when combining The Doctor's Foul Bile and Auto-Lobotomy cosmetics.

Yes its just Doctor. I have his Lobotomy head and straightjacket, and his Hallowed Blight weapon.
