My General Feedback On Oni Buff / Ruin Nerf
First off, I strongly disagree with this change to his dash flick. I honestly feel like we are going down the same route of Spirit post release from 2018. Lacking stats within the first month and people asking for changes leading to a rush change to a non-reached potential. Which then leads to many months of an extremely potent killer.
He was already strong with his wrath ability which allowed him to lunge forward and use the large hitbox of the club, this is where you can bait out 360s and do a delayed swing if you know it's coming and mix it up with the almost instant charge lunge (hold for a second). He also has the best pallet trade in the game, you can either dash lunge or charge lunge at a player who is about to interact with a pallet, destroy it or hit them during the pull down animation leading to the stunned/hit trade leaving you in an advantageous position in either scenario. You can also mind game using the dash by running into walls then sliding down them and more.
It seems like some of the community are very keen on the meta perk of infectious fright with this killer which in its own right is good but ideally was only like that in the PTB and people are still trying to use it even after the wrath angle axis nerf and we wonder why we are seeing the stats we are. Little have noticed the synergy with sloppy and thanatophobia that can lead with a map full of reb orbs by mid game with the correct gameplan. Honestly seems like people want a billy clone and chucked out all the game planing and strategy out the window without actually thinking about getting the orbs in the first place and using the resource wisely and optimally.
Now with the Ruin nerf. I'm actually happy to see this RNG machine gone, I made a post about this a couple of months ago and wonder if that sparked the thought of change. This will free up a slot for most players and killers will now start being fully creative with their builds. Of course I'm sure win ratio stats will be monitored carefully for the next couple of weeks in terms of match time but I would actually like to see Decisive Strike changed next, simply with a lower active time. We have all seen enough iterations of this perk over the years.

I’d disagree with Oni, they just reverted the too many nerfs he got, he was basically Hillbilly who had to work for his power, only difference was he had much better control while dashing. I believe he is in a much better state, its nice to have a new killer to see at high ranks rather then GF, Freddy and spirit
