Than you agree how ironic your entire life is. :) "i am not always right" .... and you are not right at this particular junction either...you just cant admit it. You dont seem very observant to me...and that is my observation :) Oh 40 years of computer experience huh? Where's your degree and certifications? Stop trying to make it sound like you have a career in it when you dont...you have been using the computer until your midlife crisis...wow so impressive. That doesnt mean you know anything.

ah well you know what they say....can't fix that which doesn't want to learn eh?

This dlc has made all of this worse? Rubberbanding etc.

At least it feels like it, I'm having so many issues this update that I'm basically done. I'm going to tap out until they fix some of the issues because its so frustrating to play at this time.

The necro was from a killer main. But this update is bad for everyone.

you want it all? sure lets go. I have certifications of A+ (both good for life and CEU versions), Net+, Sec+, CEH, Cisco Networking Certs CCNA and CyberOps, Help Desk 2000, my first computer was a comodore 64 with a cassette tape drive when it came out FIRST, I then had an IBM PCjr which is where I learned how to modify computers because I needed to add parts to it as I got an extra 360KB 5.25 floppy drive, a 300 baud modem that I connected directly to the phone line. I ran a FidoNet BBS from this IBM PCjr even before I got the second floppy (and that is why i got the second floppy. I then moved to an IBM PS^2 model 20 (with a 20 MB hard drive). From there I ordered a 386 computer from Gateway in the 1990's , built a 486 system with 487 math co-processor and then a pentium 1 computer in the early 2000 (that actual year). After that I started building my own systems from scratch. I have worked with actual networking since the mid 90's when I was picked to help work on integrating my ship's department into a ship wide network. Mind you I was also an Electronics Technician in the Navy working as a Reactor Operator.

There I have showed you my main certifications but I later got a degree in Computer Engineering Tech and IT with emphasis on Microsoft Server, Network Design, and Cyber Security. I have worked with command line interfaces since the Commodore 64 and again with routers during my IT degree studies where I studied various networking features. I have continually worked with computers, and programming from the Commodore to my IT degree which has led me to work in the following languages: Binary, Assembly, Basic, Fortran, Cobol, APL, CLI, C, C+, C++, and Java. Let me tell you it's been a wild ride since the days of DOS 3.1, watching everything unfold and it was amazing.

Now I know networking, I know how the internet is set up, and that the internet is not some magical realm where it goes from your modem to the destination instantaneously with nothing but wire in-between. use the command Tracert on your pc to see how many routers (hops) you get to go through to get to www.yahoo.com and you'll be surprised. use ping to verify the time tracert gives you. Now have your friend in the next state do the same thing and you'll find out they go a different route! it's amazing how things are different! So now that you know how I got my start, you will still think I'm wrong because you have no evidence to support your idea (not even a theory) MY evidence I already gave in descriptions. Now I will politely go back to ignoring your comments because I would not expect you to even understand how a computer's CPU works at all, much less how your ISP works. I bet you didn't know satelites are even involved with your ISP! that'd be hilarious.

I'll agree the update is bad because they released a buggy product in this instance yes, but i doubt the rubber banding is caused by the DLC itself that generally wouldn't do much and even though I didn't buy the DLC at this time I went in and played after the update where the DLC was sent to my pc (just not unlocked) and I didn't have any of that so there is probably something else at work causing your rubber banding.

I didn't buy the dlc, more specifically the update that came at the same time as the dlc has caused this.

the update sent the code for the DLC to you, this is why you can get matched with killers and survivors that are not accessible to you for gameplay. The update included the DLC as well as any changes they were pushing live. I have not had any issues myself what so ever, I've seen players on twitch that I know that have had no issues, and no one in their chats are complaining about the issues mentioned. this leads me to believe there is some other external cause to this issue. It could be triggered by the game but not the root cause of it. without investigating everyone's pc/xbox/playstation there will not be an easy way to tell you what is wrong unless everyone sends the data needed to troubleshoot the issue. Please send the data the devs need to look into this because if you do not they can not check into it and see what the issues are.

Thanks for the wall of text, I'm glad (according to you) it's not an issue.

if you can not read a simple paragraph then why are you even on a forum? the point is that you received ALL of the DLC but your account is

locked from the characters included in the update but you still get all of the update.

I hope leaving a line of blank helps you reading this. since a simple six line paragraph is a problem for you to read as you see it is a wall of

    text.

It's so infuriating. It makes being tunneled even worse. I got tunneled so hard and right when I saw a ledge and had a good lead, I fast vaulted. Was already making a hard left, and somehow ghost face still freaking hit me with the knife.

Yes, I have good internet. I don't lag and the bar going in always shows green. Either shorten the killer's lunge or let survivors run at a faster speed. If they can't set the hotboxes to be flush against the player models and have the killer actually make contact with the player and just animate the lunge to fit the distance. So if collision from player v player isn't there, then ghost hits aren't registered. This attack cone/range setup is stupid.
