And they shadow buffed flashlight

Stop saying shadow buffs and just accept it's a bug, god damn.

I’m sure it’s a bug, no way this would make it into the game again. I’d just like to see a dev or mod saying it’s a known issue and not an actual feature.

If it is a bug, shouldn't it be listed in known issues? Or at least acknowledged by a mod? I haven't seen them make any statements regarding the issue. According to them there are currently only 2 bugs in the game, otherwise it;'s perfect.

I think peanits confirmed it on another thread.

I noticed it aswell, blind is instant

Lmao, they bug two killers so they are heavily set back now but the bug that affects flashlights is a buff XD
Even the bugs are survivor sided ;)

They just didn't catch the bug yet, just like how they didn't catch the DS bug until the patch was released. Unless I'm mistaken they have never buffed or nerfed something intentionally and left it out of the patch notes.

I think the pallet teleport wasnt recorded.. I may be mistaking but pretty sure it came into the game and then became a feature for 6-7 months

You mean the pallet vacuum? I wasn't around back then so I wouldn't know. I remember something about how it was added to prevent players being stuck in pallets but I don't know how true that is.
Anyways that was fixed around the Clown's release I think and I didn't hear anything being added into the game secretly since then.

I definitely haven't.
If you have some clips of this happening, please be sure to report them in the bug reports section. I wouldn't rule it out completely, but I would assume that it's more of a delayed feedback on your end rather than being a faster blind across the board (since faster blinds would throw off the timing of flashlight saves, and it would be immediately obvious if that was the case).
Bear in mind that multiple people blinding you with a flashlight at the same time will cause you to get blinded faster.

I don't have a clip, but I can confirm that at least in one occasion (..which was actually the only time I was blinded since the patch) I felt the same effect that @Spooky13 says:
I noticed that as well. Probably a bug. It seems like the light will almost not blind you, but then it instantly blinds you.
I can't know if the time for the blind is the same or not, but since we're used to a certain degree of light on the screen before actually being blinded, the feeling is for the flashlight to blind you quicker.
The visual output is very similar to when survivors try to blind you at an imperfect angle / the killer is watching up or down, but then all of a sudden you are actually blinded.

I don’t think it’s delayed feedback, before the update you could see where you’d slowly begin to be blinded and had time to look up or down. When the patch came out it’s almost instant with no add-ons and just a yellow flashlight. All you hear is the click and then you’re blinded, I wish I had clips when it happened but hopefully others do because it’s really bad in chases :/

I noticed it seemed like blinds were faster.

this just keep getting better n better XD

Can add my own experience here: during my last couple of games, I was blinded extremely quickly (around a second) by survivors with yellow flashlights, coming at me much later than the usual flashlight save timeframe, sadly I didn't manage to record these games, but thought it would help to share my experience seeing as other people are claiming the same thing.

here's a clip of what I was saying

Happened to me yesterday, there was nothing i could do, the blind was almost instant

They do have a history of shadow buffing survivor things and shadow nerfing killer things. It's documented.

It's not documented by BHVR, though. :)
Granted, they could all be bugs; but if that's the case, since things like this are such a normal occurrence with every patch, shouldn't your QA team be looked at? Or at least expanded?
