Keys need a visual rework for the lobby
I'm tired on Survivors that bring in Keys, having them be near impossible to see in the lobby, let alone in a match. With Ash's Puppet Hand obscuring it, Survivors that have idle animations that hold their arms back a bit etc.
We can literally see every other item a Survivor brings in...Killers plan in accordance to that...Keys being small & hard to see are kinda bullshit and it's like "whoop, there they go"
When in a lobby as Killer, this is really difficult to see a key like this, esp with Survivors spot being panned back and depending on which of the 4 spots they occupy, can even be harder to spot.

so you think keys should be as big as the other items? would look pretty funny to carry around a key 5 times bigger than the survivors hand.

or maybe make it glow or something to give us a indication that a key is in use it is diffcult to see from killer pov

instead of complaining here, try using your eyes in the lobby, they can be seen

Not most of the time. Survivors cosmetics also cover them up!

@toxicmegg Have you tried to spot a key in Jeff's hand as Killer? Especially when wearing the coat? On top of that, he also has the same animation with and without animation.
Not that there are many Jeff players or mains like myself, but I had to mention that.

This is even worse in low resolution, keys are basically invisible. Just making them bigger would help (plus big old keys are cool)

I have to agree with the suggestion. The 4th survivor' so small that you almost have no chance to deicide it is a key or an empty hand.

Barely. I sometimes have to squint to see if they have a Key, and other times hands are positioned such that the Key is pointed toward the screen which makes it even harder to tell. I've had games where I didn't realize someone had a Key and games where I mistakenly believed someone who didn't have an item was holding a Key.
Disagree. This seems like it would be an easy change to make without taking time away from other game changes. Just make it so hovering over an item will tell you what class of item it is (Toolbox, Medkit, Map, Key, Flashlight, Firecracker) without telling you specifically which item in that class it is (so you'll know that it's a Key, but not whether it's Broken, Dull, or Skeleton).

That's a bad reason not to do it. Just find a solution to lobby dodging. Hiding items is not the answer.

You're suggesting that making it easier to identify Keys in lobbies (which are currently difficult to identify due to how small and dark the Keys are) would encourage lobby dodging as though that is a reason to leave Keys as difficult to be seen. I disagree.
