The 3.50 killer experience
Good morning forum,
I want to spend some time to address and give some feedback regarding the latest update.
I want this to be a civil and polite conversation, so if you are looking to start flaming please refrain from joining the conversation.
I am an experienced ps4 asymmetrical game player. I have clocked in just in 2019 around 1000 hours in dbd and around 300 on Friday the 13th.
I just want to give feedback in 3 areas that are making my experience worse :
1 survivors' movements have become somehow sharper, faster. It is hard to describe but I'm missing hits I would normally hit. I hope something will be done about the issue. I never had this problem before. This is also made worse by the absence of sound, footsteps and noise by some downed survivors
2 I agree with ruin being changed, it is honestly annoying to play vs but also to lose it quickly in the match. Although I feel there needs to be an urgent action regarding map size and map balance. It is hard to pressure gens with 4.6 killers and losing a gen before you can reach it is disheartening and increases the stress of the killer's experience.
3 nurse : she lost all the fun from her game and the new addons are not really meaningful. Most of them are just for a meme build and they don't really help you. The cooldown with her current walking speed feels like a heavy punishment, especially in console (ps4 pro plus gaming monitor). I believe something needs to be done to improve the experience.

pretty sure a lot of players are quite done being nice and polite, that ship sailed many years ago

It is understandable, I also feel frustrated although I believe the only way to have a civil conversation with the devs is to be polite and provide feedback and hope in a quick solution that benefits everyone.
I'm fairly sure it is possible

I would like to add 1 more. Idk if this is general, but this isat least a PC issue.
4. Sounds balancing. When I am not in a chase, it is honestly a good experience. When I am in a chase, I cannot hear anything. I have lost survivors in multiple chases because I cannot hear them,even if they do not have iron will.

Same issues with Xbox too. I've had survivors being hit during chases and not make a single sound, or I will literally stand right beside an injured survivor and zero sounds, and no Iron Will. It's making the game for killer even more frustrating when you can't even figure out where they are with sounds glitching out

I agree, I did briefly touch it in point 1 and reduced /absent sounds are a problem indeed. Thanks for the contribution

I haven't noticed a movement change yet on xbox but nurse is definitely too annoying to play as now. I think her basekit was too strong, but now it's too stressful to use.

Actually I did notice this on some loops while playing as billy who is more dependent on survivors' movement. I kept missing chainsaws that I otherwise would have been guaranteed because I'm familiar with loops as hillbilly but I missed them by literal pixels. I thought it was because I'm a little rusty but apparently survivor movement is different. I will keep playing and report feedback on what I find.

Killers are actually extremely resilent players. They endured times of literal infinites, instant BNPs, pallet vacuum, 4 obsession DS (not needing the 35% wiggel bar), and so on. So I dont think there will ever be a point before they break.

Look at que times for survivors. Of course a lot of killers have stopped playing or swapped to survivor. 100% agree that Nurse needs a buff.

Same here, it is more difficult to hit them. Sometimes they can reach an acceleration that is quite strange

Sorry, I didnt realize you mentioned the sounds. Thank you for mentioning that.
I will say, at first, I really didnt believe that. I thought they weren't balancing around the right area, but they weren't doing it for the brand new players.
But since they literally say in the ruin changes "the ruin currently is to frustrating against NEWER survivors", this literally states that this is for them.
