I feel the devs should either acknowledge camping as a valid strategy and remove the penalties for it OR make it a bannable offence and enforce harsher penalties for it. I don't care which, as long as they actually take a stance on it instead of just saying it's an actual strategy and yet continue to punish players for it.

I get patrolling a hooked survivor, especially with over-altruistic groups, but FFS, face-camping me with a chainsaw is just too far.
Same with Hag traps. They shouldn't be allowed anywhere near a hook, or give her the camping penalty for her traps.
If killers want change, and GOOD change, then they all collectively (not all, obviously) and NOT camp/tunnel for a few months. With exceptions, of course. If they're getting teabagged, then by all means.
They complain about Decisive Strike so much, but from a survivor's point, it's a case of mutually assured destruction. You tunnel me, I WILL stab you.

I think it should be after a certain time limit has elapse, the game should start reducing blood points or just straight up make the survivor hook timer not go down like if legion is chasing you the mend doesn't go down

There is a penalty: The other Survivor do gens and escape for free, Killer depips.

I would not mind camping at all if killers would occasionally say, "Oh, wait. What's that over there? That seems more important than camping. I feel safe leaving the hook."
Killers who camp do not feel safe about leaving the survivor on the hook to die because of the issues posed if the survivor is unhooked. Survivors NEVER (rarely) get left on the hook to die if there are four survivors and the killer isn't applying insane pressure to all of them.
Either that should change or how the sacrifice process works should change.
(eg. struggle and attempt escape phases both start at full bar and decrease until empty, at which point the survivor proceeds directly to 3rd phase. Theoretically, a survivor could die within 60 seconds of being hooked if he or she is not saved.)

The killer already gets punished for camping hooks. They are giving up their entire mappressure, and allow the others survivors to finish the 5 gens uncontested, basically throwing the game in the process.

But what if you only face camp after gens are done and your trying to protect your one and only kill? the others can leave if they go down because they refuse to leave without her than that's their fault not the killers in that scenario.
