What is your percentage someone DC's in a game?

I am not exaggerating this number or percentage one bit. With peace and love I'm telling you 50-75% of the games I play at least one person DC's. Whether it be they got downed (first time), not the map they want, etc. This is cancer for this game and something really needs to be done about this. Streamers promote this crap too. I have roughly 3k hours in this game and had to DC twice due to cooky circumstances, so I don't want to hear "people are forced to DC because this game is effed". I know this may be the millionth thread on this, but devs... PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do something about this. I have video evidence of this. First down someone DC's and leaves a 3v1 with 5 gens and a killer that feels bad and farms or we get slaughtered. This is killing the fun for players. Bugs in the game can be dealt with and do get dealt with. People who DC are not being dealt with. If banning DC'rs lowers the player base so be it. I don't want to play with them. Love you all! :)

    Can't remember matches before 3.5, but since 3.5: 0%.

It feels like almost every game. Anytime the match seems to shift who's gonna win someone dc's.

They are working on a DC penalty, but the first testing period of the Disconnect penalty came with a lot of really bad bugs, so I imagine they still have a lot of work to do on it.

Like I've heard people were getting banned because someone in their match dc'd during the trial period. The idea that everyone gets a dc timer when one person dc's during the loading screen is a pretty hefty bug on it's own.

I would say about 10% of the time I see this. I play 3 to 5 games a night and at least one survivor will DC. Usually if I hook them in the first minute of the match. I don't know why I leave after I hook them and let them get rescued. I also see them DC when the match turns into my favor. Which is so annoying and such poor sportsmanship. When I am getting beat badly I never DC, just suffer the lost and move on to next game.

I think too many ecelebs derank to make montages by leaving matches for them to implement punishments. It's unfortunate, but they do provide free advertising for the game.

Still 50% of my games have at least one. Some games its 2 or 3 teammates like dominoes. One goes down to stupid ######### and DCs, the next one caught doesnt even run, and the third just DCs wherever they are. It's still just as much of an issue as before.

And entity forbid I play killer and get deranked people that get clicky clicky and get caught. They ALWAYS DC before hook.

And fog whisperers encouraging it as a way to say "I'm not playing against XYZ" for whatever reason. Then silencing forum members who mention them by name.

It's like what's her name with the dog and cat and wardrobe "malfunction" on twitch. If you're in good enough with the service, the service decides the rules may not matter for you.

I have no clue but it's a lot. It's worse now with the new rank reset too. There is no grind anymore to get to rank 1. There is no need to try and stay at rank 1 closer it gets to reset. It's really sad at the moment.

DCs are common enough of a problem that they should have been dealt with LONG ago.

Past 2 days Iv had maybe 40ish% of my games have at least 1 DC. And all of them for the same reasons. They either don't like what Killer it is (had a Freddy daily, 3 instant DCs), seen their hiding spot, or I won a mindgame for a quick down. Boils down to.

If I can't win, DC. My fun is more important than yours.

Even had a guy start an argument with me about how it was my fault someone else DCed. And how I should have farmed with the other 3 as if I should be rewarding the DC mindset. That only makes the problem worse. Did take it easy that game, but he failed to notice that and accused my wanting to just play the game as being a "tryhard AF" then started rant about my build of random tier 1 perks as being too meta.

I have to listen to the dev stream to see if any of this what brought up in the Q&A. It's gotten silly to the point where if I see a teammate get downed, I'm crossing my fingers they don't DC or kill themselves on the hook. I hope the devs are listening to us because this is REALLY one of, if not the biggest problems in dbd. I enjoy this game so much after a 12 hour day in the hot kitchen and chill out playing some dbd, but the devs need to put their foot down and punish these people for ruining the game. Maybe a little public shaming to the streamers that openly do it on their streams would send a Stern message? When I'm crossing my fingers a teammate won't DC upon first down... That's bad. They DC and go to the next match while the killer and 3 survivors are like "ok now what?". Please devs?!?!! I'm begging with peace and love
