Is New lerys up there with Haddonfield and Ormond for hard maps for killers?
Title. After 50 games or so, although it's not impossible, the layout of loops safe pallets and los blockers, with limited places to mindgame or cut people off anymore, can make chases painfully long.
Whatever happened to "more pallets but with less safe zones and more counterplay"

No I wouldn't say so, it's especially good for the new doctor, it might be a bit worse for huntress, but it always was.

I've only played on it as Spirit and Freddy so far but it seems okay. Got 4ks both times, though there were mixed ranks (some rank 20-14s with rank 4s) so that probably skewed the outcome. There doesn't seem like many good pallets, but hooks are decently far away from each other

I like the new map as survivor hate it as killer tho expect for a few like stealth killers or doc

Are you crazy? Lerys is one of the best maps for killers unless you are huntress. Huntress is the only killer that strongly benefits from open world maps and that's if you're good with her. Billy gets hindered some because he can't sprint across the map, but either way it's still a very killer sided map. Old lerys had one of the highest kill rates and I'm sure this lerys is no different because they really didn't change much except make it look better.
There aren't really that many safe pallets and the few there are you just break them. Sometimes I'll come across a killer who let's me run him around the same pallet for a good minute when all they had to do is break the pallet. That's not lerys being strong that's just killers playing badly.
