Give us an option to down survivors instead of picking them up straight to ds

Just had a game where a freshly unhooked survivor downed a pellet in front of another injured survivor, vault over it, and my character grabbed her(the vaulting survivor) instead of the injured survivor that i was meaning to hit. I instantly carry her off the pallet straight into ds. It's a clever usage of the perk and definitely a smart outplay, but in what world does this serve the purpose of anti tunneling? It's literally "im invincible to pickup in the next 60 seconds so ill make all the plays to bait you to pick me up." Either give us a possibility of downing survivors instead of picking them up(if we don't pick them up because of DS then it's still serving its purpose right?) or maybe allow us to keybind multiple keys to different functionalities like any other decent game out there so we can press different keys to swing our weapon and grab vaulting survivors
