Killer Perk Discussion: Mounstrous Shrine

Hey guys,

In this discussion I'd like to take a look at the Killer Perk Mounstrous Shrine. As always keep the discussion clean and use this to generate ideas.

So I don't think anyone would disagree that Mounstrous Shrine is probably the least impactful perk in a killers arsenal. The perk itself only works in a specific situation and its effects in that situation are minimal compared to other perks.

So how can this perk be revamped?

One idea I thought of is having Mounstrous Shrines new effect be stackable with each survivor you have hooked in the basement decreasing the time all survivors are sacrificed on any hooks. An additional effect the perk could be preventing survivors from pulling themselves off the hook. So it would look something like this.

Mounstrous Shrine: Hooking a Survivor in the Basement excites the Entity causing you to gain a stack increasing Sacfrificial Progression on all Hooks by 5%. The Enity tightens its grip on Survivors on the hook removing any chance of escaping on there own. Increase Sacrifice Bloodpoints Earned by 50% on Basement hooks and 25% on all other hooks.

    Monstrous shrine: survivors unhooked in the basement become oblivious and exhausted for 40/50/60 seconds. Survivors who unhook in the basement are afflicted with Blindness for 60 seconds. For 60 seconds after a survivor is unhooked in the basement, survivors with blindness can't unhook or heal within 28/30/32m of the basement.

    Basically make monstrous shrine a tool to help enable basement snowballing. Also works as a DS timer and synergizes with MYC.

    Make this perk spawn both basements and then the numbers change on each level of the perk like before.

  • i thought of the idea if a survivor is unhooked in the basement kikker gains the haste status effect for 15 seconds
