Is this community filled with oppressors?
Feels like everyone refuse to look at both sides and stand ground for life about their stance. I guess people can't handle opinions on a forum, you know, a place to discuss your opinions?

After the ruin nerf... Yes, things are way more worse than before

It's not really that different to many other communities, there will always be some sort of obvious rift between parts of the community based on one thing or another.
Nothing inherently wrong with taking sides or even being biased as long as people are self aware and honest about it. But obviously people that use " ur a <role> main" and even convince themselves into believing it's an actual arguement are silly.

Partly because this game comes with a natural divide, because too many people main one side or the other. They can't be objective because they only see one side, so that is their reality. What's good for one side is bad for the other, and vice versa, so it creates a lot of toxicity.
Those that play both sides can't state an opinion without getting labeled as a main for the other side. It's kind of sad, but that is the state of things.

The devs pretty much cause most of these issues and of course content creators

This community sucks plain and simple. Even here everyone tries to seem witty or put others down 24/7. It’s one big argument. It’s pathetic in the big scheme of things.

You literally called me a “stupid entitled survivor main” in my post and now you’re saying devs are the problem?

That's not really true, though. It's not casual at all. It's become quite competitive, so much so that it's begun ignoring any horror elementals that were at it's core. Currently, that is one of the biggest issues with the toxicity. People stupidly feel the need to rub it in each other's face when one side tries and fails, no matter the reason.
As it is, the Devs have essentially made it their position that we have to play this game by THEIR rules, which is to say, they're not really being subtle about the fact that they nerf or change things to attempt to force more variety.
It's definitely gone in waves though. Last year, killers were a real threat in lots of instances, but now their all but neutered. Meanwhile, swf teams have the same build and strategies, but the Dev either done or won't acknowledge it, and it's creating a schism that really shouldn't exist. At some point, they'll change things again, and the same thing will repeat, only the Killers will be back on top again.

Yep. You observe something different to someone else, explain your viewpoint and share your experiences and you are just WRONG. Because it is different to what someone else has experienced.
There are a rare few of us who genuinely consider both sides, but they are few and far between.
You look on just about any post, and 99% of them will be filled with people shooting down the OP's idea.

Being balanced and playing it competitively aren't mutually exclusive. That's simply your opinion. The fact is that the toxic behaviors, anger and frustration, and all of the complaining is largely coming from two camps: people that want to enjoy the game for what it's premise promises, and people that play to win competitively.

And you went 'wha wha fart noises' in another post. You are just as much of a problem. No body here seems to be able to keep it civil.

Try the Overwatch forum for a day. You'll know true salt and hatred in those lands.
