Can I send a DM on this forum?
I may be UI blind but I can't find a way to send a DM to another user. I was trying to have a discussion a few minutes ago but the whole post got deleted after OP replied to my comment, sadly before I could read.
I wish to ask what they tried to tell me as I find very annoying being unable to conclude said discussion, I do not wish to create another similiar post just for my curiosity as I believe it would be against the forum rules.
I also don't want to taint their whole profile by writing on it, I think it would be rude given the circumstances.
If there actually is no way, what is the Inbox section for? Communications from Mods?

Only mods and devs can send direct messages. If you want to contact another user outside of a thread, the only way to do so is by posting on their wall.
The reason for this is because the mods want to be able to keep the forum free from spam and harassment, but they aren't able to read and police private messages, so they've disabled the function basically to keep everything above-board.
