Good thing it's so easy to rank up as survivor

Otherwise there would be no red rank killers in the game. Imagine if all red rank survivors knew how to loop optimally. The only reason why there are still red rank killers is because 1.) It's so easy to rank up as survivor, it doesn't take much skill to reach red ranks. 2.) The matchmaking is broken so even if you're a red rank killer you have a chance of getting matched with rank 15+ survivors which makes it even easier.

It also doesn't help that a SWF team can carry a low rank when they go against a lower ranked killer and just bulldoze them into the ground.
