Doctor and dying state question
Why does shock therapy work while in dying state? I should ask why do survivors let out screams while in dying state?

It helps you find them if you had to leave them down. Also helps your teammates because it's distracting

What? Nah, I'm like 99.9% sure it's not the case that his shocks work on survivors in the dying state.
I was messing around yesterday, just trying to have fun, and one survivor suicided while another was slugged. Well, the two survivors still on their feet acted really weird; they didn't pick the slug up. So I had to find the poor guy myself, and the game's totally broken audio was no help. He wasn't in madness 3, so he wasn't screaming. And when I used Static Blast he didn't scream, either.
I've also done a lot of slugging outside of that match as Doc, and survivors in the dying state don't seem to react to his Static Blast. They will continue to scream if they're in madness 3, but if they're not in madness 3, they never scream.
I actually wish Static Blast did work on dying survivors, because the broken sounds made it really difficult to find that poor survivor the others refused to pick up. He was on the ground for over two minutes for no good reason.

It’s the same with Infectious Fright, you scream when you’re in Dying state

Both of Doctor's abilities don't work whilst in the dying state. However, if you are already in madness tier 3, you will scream while in the dying state. You can't progress in madness while in the dying state, to make a long story short.
