Ruin Changes
I actually have some positive to say about the changes.
I thought they would be horrible, I guess you could say I relied on Ruin pre-rework. It was on the perk loadout for nearly all killers I was playing with and I was terrified to pick killer back up yesterday. Yet, I found I did better as a killer than before, knowing that I couldn't rely on ruin to help me in stalling time to find and down people forced me to actually try a bit more in chases and knowing when to break chases, lead people into deadzones away from gens, or force them to heal over other actions.
My loadout still holds its base in other ways, with most killers running Devour Hope (that I had equipped before Ruin got changed) and BBQ. I have ran noed on a few killers (I made a goal of myself to keep it off the loadouts before the rework (with the exception of the toxic slugging legion I run)) but I still keep it off of the majority of killers, never really having any issues YET on ending games just fine without it.
I honestly thought I would absolutely despise the Ruin changes and switch to a purely survivor main instead of my 60% killer, 40% survivor ratio I had before. Yet now that I have played killer again and put myself in a bit better mentality than before, I think the changes have pushed me to be better as a killer.
