The solution to SWF
I just said this in a comment but im sharing here. People say its impossible to stop SWF from forming but it's not.
All bhvr has to do is remove the possibility to invite. No parties.
Then they have to remove the lobby completely from our side.
Basically sesrch for 5 players, once all found, send them to the black load screen, and then straight to the match.
Now if survivors want to spend the first minute exposing themselves sending messages and party invites that's on them. But i doubt it. It'll cut the SWF games in half if not eradicate them.

It'll also cut the playerbase in half, if not eradicate it.

as ive already said you can see all players names in game. it would take 30 max to invite the team to a steam chat/ps4 group and boom you now have an instant Survive with strangers group all on coms. It would actively encourage even more teams to be on coms than now as people would do it just to gain that advantage with those who wouldn't normally do SWF.
Just learn to adapt to SWF groups they really aren't that hard to deal with

Maybe this game done correctly is not meant to be AAA. I wonder if anyone has ever thought of that. Maybe if they realized it's a niche cult classic type they'd fix it and balance it for a smaller player base.
You're basically saying keep it the way it was by their own admission, never intended to be, for the sake of numbers.

This is the official solution to SWF:

that’ll NEVER happen. if SWF is such an issue, then just pay more attention to when survivors join tbh. I notice when 2/3 join at the same exact time it’s probably a swf.
but they’re never gonna remove swf buddy lol

Im not complaining bud. I tunnel and rarely lose. I play how i want. Im simply offering a suggestion to what people whine about. I gave suggestions for ruin even though i never run it as well. Calm down

intended or not, what game company in their right mind would go out of their way to reduce their player base and tone their game down from AAA to niche cult classic with a smaller player base? They want the numbers, they want the money, they want to keep the game going strong.

Yes. Because numbers are important. Because multiplayer games die when they don't have multi players.

Again, it's not so much an issue for me. I just don't like people lying and saying something is impossible when it's definitely not.

true, but like someone said above, half the player base would leave too.
and their main way of advertisement is streaming, and a lot of streamers play with their fans, so this wouldn’t look good on them and probably give them negative feedback.

Ask CSGO. Who almost no one plays on console, yet they make mad money off of their loyal fanbase on PC. The obvious smaller platform of gamers.

Fair enough, i think the honest answer is that and what another guy here said. They just don't want to. For money reasons.
I was just debunking the myth that you can't stop it

lol I'm perfectly calm. Just pointing out your solution to a problem that isn't even a problem doesn't make any sense from BHVR's point of view or even the players.
If you were giving suggestions on how to deal with the SWF issue, I'm sure you'd have just gone with - tunnel them, as you rarely lose. Rather than the rehashed eliminate SWF altogether its so easy argument.
Anyway you do you.
Hope you are well and enjoy the game

oh that’s apart of my “streamers etc” point too lol. i wish there would be an option to turn it off (for killers) or maybe a solo queue made only for going in alone or something. idk i just know there’s a way around it lol

As many people have said it would kill the game. Or cut the player base in half. If anything they should buff solo survivor experiences to be as close to SWF as possible. If they did that, they might be able to look at killers and buff them as well if it is needed.
