Who is the strongest killer in the game right now
In terms of map pressure, their ability, snowball potential etc whatever you think is the best killer in the game right now.
Also it’s worth mentioning what platform the killer is best on.

I personally would say Spirit...if sounds weren't messed up...still.
I also don't think Nurse is what she used to be.
So possibly Billy..at this current moment anyway.

Let’s say hypothetically a player can play any killer to their fullest potential and is the best at every killer. It’s Nurse.
Even in her state at the moment she can apply pressure to the map (with recharge add-ons) and end chases super quickly. I’ve seen Umbra and Zubat still destroy teams with Nurse, she’s still extremely good in my opinion. She’s just not overly powerful above the rest. She is on a more equal level compared to the other killers.
Spirit is also still extremely good but sounds are holding her back to her fullest potential.

Problems with nurses they usually get genrushed.
Making a bad blink with her is way too punishing.

Any killer can be gen-rushed. Gens aren’t gonna fly by any faster than they would with Nurse than they would with Trapper.
I can play perfectly with Spirit but if a survivor has a strong enough map, three gens could pop when I’m done with my first chase. Not that I did anything wrong, gens just go by pretty quickly.
Making a bad blink is punishing. So is making a wrong prediction post-phase. So is missing your last hatchet with Huntress and having to abandon chase to reload. So is all survivors hiding during Oni’s Blood Fury. So is Myers not getting any use out of Tier 3. Killers making bad plays are going to be quite punishing.

Most people will tell you it's either Spirit, Freddy or Nurse.
Personally, I would say Nurse (particularly on PC) but I've learned that's apparently a very controversial opinion to hold.

I completely agree with you both. But last time I told someone that Nurse was the best, albeit the most difficult to master, I was met with a barrage of replies along the lines of "Nurse is the worst killer, they trashed her, I've been a Nurse main for X hours and now I hate playing her, just look at her kill rate" etc. So I'm a little wary of expressing that opinion now!

Her kill rate has console players and pc players from all ranks if they only did red rank nurses on pc even tho they nerfed her pretty bad her kill rate would skyrocket...that said I’d argue she’s not the best on console atleast until sensitivity is increased or M/K on console is enabled

Nurse, but her skill floor is too inaccessible for many players.
Therefore, I'd say Hillbilly is the best overall currently. He requires very little risk or effort for a high reward.

Yes, she certainly relies a lot more on sensitive controls than most other killers. I suspect part of the reason for her kill rate being so low is also that her skill threshold has been raised significantly, meaning that far fewer people are willing to put in the effort to get good enough at using her to pull that statistic up.

Sure Nurse is powerful, but she isn't fun. You have to choose wheither or not to save your blinks for map pressure or for chasing. She used to be able to do both but now she can't

Blinking as nurse is still pretty fun it’s the gens going fast and the cool down that’s not fun

Oh you mean Omega Blink where ANYBODY could play Nurse and win? I’m the worst Nurse ever and I ran that build and won. (I’m not taking a dig at you, I’m just sarcastic by nature XD).
Nurse still has the same amount of map pressure that she did previously. Her blinks don’t take that long to recharge. It’s not like Spirit’s phase where you have to wait for it to recharge. Spirit can’t have map control and chase potential, Nurse can. With recharge add-ons both of her blinks are recharged after fatigue.
I don’t agree with the Nurse changes, I think it wasn’t needed...but people act like they completely gutted Nurse when she’s still nearly the same as she was before. It wasn’t the worst they could’ve done

I never said they killed her, but she isn't in a good spot. Most of her addons are complete trash and give her useless benefits (making Survivors scream when you blink past them, disabling your power for a speed boost, etc.)

I think they tried to make her more versatile and change her playstyle similar to Myers. You have wall-hack Myers, Tombstone Myers, perma-T3 Myers...ya know, variety. I think her add-ons are a cool concept but don’t help her that much. Like most killers, her ultra rare add-ons are not great.
I play on console so I’m absolutely terrible with Nurse, but I still see people play her perfectly. I can definitely see how she isn’t as fun as she used to be though.

In terms of absolute power without regards to skill needed to master, the Nurse is by far the best killer in the game.
In terms of a ratio power/skill needed I would go with Hillbilly, easier to use than Oni, Spirit or Freddy, has the best map pressure in the game, an easy to use instadown without requisites, the ability to catch up to survivors very fast after breaking a pallet and he can also proxy camp without CD.
Imo problem with nurses is most of them are not very good because the insane amount of skill and dedication you need to master her, also you either stomp or get stomped, there is no middle ground so it can be very frustrating to learn her.
Since the rework I faced only 2 insanely good nurses and they dominated the game almost as easily as they did before the rework, then again, only 2 insanely good nurses, the rest were quite bad.

Console: I think its a mix of Oni, Ghostface, Billy. I’m not sold on Freddy being one of the best yet. But Spirit Fury/Enduring with Dreams Pallets is a blast.

Currently The strongest one I think will be Freddy
A good killer should able to use short amount of time and complete below action with their ability (not depend on survivor mistake)
Search Survivor -> Start Chase -> End Chase Downing survivor
In my opinion, Strong killer that able to do that is
Freddy, Billy. Spirit, Nurse with decent skill
If include the killer that able to achieve these action and snowball due to survivor mistake, I will add in below killer
GhostFace, Hag, Demo

Pretty solid list. Just don’t agree with Hag being lower than Freddy and Huntress and Plague being C tier.

Well, i played against some god huntress players recently that make even zubat look like an absolut beginner.. so i might be biased.. but the only reason i dont see huntress even higher on that list is that she is on some maps really not that great.
Hag is definitly a strong killer, with the right addons extremly powerful, but she is also not that great if she is up against a coordinated team (in relation to other Killers)
Hm, some say, Freddy is even top 3. While i dont agree, i understand their point.
Plague is a one-trick pony. Cleanse and you probably loose, dont cleanse and you probably win. Its always the same...

Personally I think Umbra is the best Huntress I’ve seen, but I play on console and good Huntresses are few and far between and I only watch certain streamers. As you said she is extremely map dependent. On Autohaven maps I would argue that she might be the third best killer, even better than Billy or Hag...but she is just too map dependent so overall on other maps, Hag and Billy will do better.
Hag with Mint Rag/MYC combo is so deadly. I hate going against it, but thankfully I very rarely run into it. I actually like facing Hag unlike most players.
I think that Freddy is really good but players think he is third best? Nah. He has no way to end chases quickly like Nurse, Spirit, Hag, or Billy. He has to either spam traps (which I hate) or trick them by fake pallets which doesn’t work all the time and isn’t as good as traps. I personally think Freddy is very boring so I avoid him :/

Demo is underrated IMO.. two shred recovery add ons let you use shred to catch up quicker in chases, and the portals are just as good as Freddy's teleport. BBQ to know which gen to port to.. Pop + Corrupt to give some gen time.. I'm enjoying him currently. Merciless with him more than not. You have to work your ass off but still.. he's fun to use

Nurse is still the only killer who can literally ignore the environment and loops altogether. Watch a good player play nurse and she’s still an absolutely wrecking ball.

Sounds are bugged which screws over Spirit way more than you think and Nurse has such a high skill ceiling that most Nurse players completely suck.

No. I play on PS4. I’ve gone against good Nurse players who know exactly where to blink and are great at predictions. It’s not only PC that Nurse is capable of doing good on.
Nurse when play at her absolute best is the best killer regardless of platform.
She just not easy to learn on console. Sensitivity, FPS drops, and having a controller makes her automatically harder...same as Huntress and honesty any killer. They are all handicapped because it’s not as easy as it would be on mouse and keyboard.
She’s never been trash on any platform.

Strongest if you are really good at the game: Nurse, Spirit (if sounds are working, which they aren't so often).
Strongest if you aren't that good at the game: Freddy, Billy
Strongest if the survivor team gets terrified when the first player goes down: Hag
It's pretty funny seeing all the nurse mains in different threads claiming she is so weak and busted now, when, regardless of how fun she is, she is still top tier. Before the nerf I never played her. Too easy to win as. Now I've been playing her much more. It actually feels like an accomplishment if you win with her now, rather than before where it was 4k after 4k.

In all seriousness, though, it is based on preference in most cases, however a killer who is considered the strongest, I feel either Nurse, Spirit, or GF. GF it actually depends on his playstyle, so he is less likely from the three. Ofc, this is my opinion.
Billy is balanced imo, and he is my bapey. Much love to him <3

Nerfs hurt her more than people realise. People have been under the impression that Nurse is the god killer for so long that its impossible to see it differently. Most Nurse players are mediocre at best and the few that are competent arent nearly as oppressive as they used to be. She is still a really good killer but not what she used to be.
