How do i join a party of people playing on PC if I play on a Switch

Hi, my boyfriend and I are trying to play DbD matches together, but he plays on a PC and I play on a Nintendo Switch. Can I join his party or does it not work like that.

    Right now the only available crossplay is from Steam with Windows Store

    Also for context, some players claim that the Xbox Game Pass is a gateway to cross-play with PC players, but this is not the case.

    As said above, there is only cross-play with Steam and the Windows Store, nothing else.
