What is there to lose from adding k/m support on console?
I honestly don’t know why it’s not enabled , survivor is fine on controller and I personally find it even easier to 360 and juke on an analog stick , and for killer the only killer I can see that will benefit is nurse, and she’s still extremely hard to learn due to her nature and the unnecessary base kit nerf. So, why isn’t m/k enabled ?

I think it's cause of the ######### frame rate cause mouse allows for much faster camera movement. I'd love if the game was atleast 60fps on all platforms.

It's more than just nurse tbh. M/K would also let you do more, and make 360s harder because the tracking on it can be more towards the player and not the static turn speed of a controller. Would also make some manuveurs easier to do. As it is, it feels pretty bad trying to play killer on controller tbh.

Keyboard already works, just for some reason mouse isn't enabled. I don't see why they can't do it

...and why is that? It's a personal preference mostly, especially on a game like DbD. Only things it really helps is Nurse and Huntress

A lot of my console buddies are afraid of cross platform because of the advantage m/k has.

It's not really that many advantages. Survivor is easier with controller, so if you're using controller as survivor and the killers using k/m you'd pretty much be on the same level as PC players

But how? You're not explaining anything. It's how pc players play, and a lot of PC players use controller as survivor so really are no advantages to be had

I think it's mainly because mouse has a way better sensitivity for turning than we do with controllers since console still doesn't have a sensitivity option. Eevn then, there's no real advantage with a keyboard and mouse. It's not like a mouse makes anyone move faster. Just turns a little better.

it also helps with aiming ., and like you said turning which would make m&k on killers such as oni, nurse , huntress and billy really powerful against controller survivors

Controller survivors are better then Mouse and Keyboard survivors. You can do some cool stuff on Surv with M&K yet it's inferior in the same way Controller is to Mouse and Keyboard for Killer.

I have one, i just have almost every killer on Xbox and play on it more. I probably wouldn't use m/k on Xbox, but I don't see why it shouldnt be allowed

Much more control with the mouse... Obviosly. Quick movements, flicks are far easier. Also on PC the sensitivity is like it should be, dont know of that will also be increased or it will stay low if you use M and K on console

He is. With controller you aren't stuck with the set directionals as you are with keyboard. You can move 100% freely. But with killer m/k are superior for better aim

Well on keyboard there are set ways to move with WASD. You can't get a precise movement as you can with a joystick. With a joystick you can move freely, but with a keyboard you have to hold only one or two buttons that move you in a set direction. For example, if you hold W you move in a completely straight line. If you hold W and D you move forward more at a 45 degree angle. 360s for example are much easier to do on controller than with a keyboard

But console players play on a comfortable sofa. Even if they brought a keyboard and mouse option, I don't think I would like sitting on the floor to play.

I had tried controller as survivor before and it didn't impress me. Maybe because I am so used to playing games with keyboard and mouse that analog isn't needed.

You're just trying to say theres no advantage with using M and K over a mouse, even though its obvious. Max sensitivity on console is pathetically slow, theres no ######### way that you can play better on console if you're good enough. Just because you play better on console doesnt mean anything

Its incredibly easy to use the buttons... Dbd youtubers seem to 360 just fine, infact they can 360 way faster thanks to the proper sensitivity

No I specifically said controller is better for survivor I never mentioned anything about using it on a console.
The sensitivity for survivor on console is still quite good, but the sensitivity of the same quality in game let's say both PC and Console are 100 is significantly different. You can preform overall better on PC with a controller then with a Mouse and Keyboard.

Dense? Nah man. Playing with a MOUSE AND KEYBOARD on a console is 200% cheating. That's why competitive games like Siege and PUBG will ban you if it's proven you are using it on console.
If you want to play with it, play on a PC.

Since several people have confirmed to you what I'm saying it's not just me. You may think M&K are superior they are not anything, but inferior for Survivor.
Because despite several people mentioning it was better on controller than M&K you continued to ignore it so I went straight to mention it was superior on PC to let you actually understand. Tons of people play to win or have the best edge they can. So why would they run an inferior piece of equipment? Do people not spend hundreds between good headsets, mouse's, and keyboards for good play? Ever consider some people also prefer controller for gaming yet prefer the versatility of a PC?
Honestly I still think even the Survivors movement on Console would be superior, but more of a even trade off compaired to using Controller and Mouse and Keyboard on PC. Like many mentioned the WASD movement in more ridged follow strict conditions and less fluid like the analog stick provides. You have significantly better play and movement with Controller die to the fluidity of that movement.

The game is tailored to work properly on each console regardless of input. Probably the main reason is because, why would you want to? The controller works fine. I don't understand why anyone would want to use a K/M over the controller on console, beaded personnel preference.
If you prefer K/M just use a pc instead? Otherwise, just get good with the controller on your respective console. There's no specific advantage unless you play killer and wunna snipe with huntress

Sorry, but it is true just because your bad with controller for survivor does not make that a irrefutable fact either.
I personally don't see the problem with Mouse and Keyboard on Consoles all it will do is give people who have a hard time with controller or want to use M&K better access to the game.

I'm a console player, but I tried this game with my bf who plays PC and I just used a controller on PC. It's nearly impossible to 360 a killer who uses m/k because their flick is much better than a controller is. They dont have dead space in between movements like controller players do. Plus pair a better flick with lower FPS? Not happening.

As someone who has played loads of PS4 and PC I can honestly say both controls make almost no difference, both in my performance and the performance of those I'm playing with. I have seen god-tier huntresses and Nurses on console. The nurses are ultra-rare, but I haven't seen many on PC either.
This is not a competitive FPS shooter, enabling M&K on console would just be a QOL for those who prefer it. Which would only be a handful of players anyway. Getting up to 60fps is WAY better for killer QOL imho.

Might be easier but i see lots of controller users that are not able to properly look around. Especially behind them in chases. I can spot a controller user within 5 seconds of watching the spectate. Mechanical, bursty and limited camera movements is what i see.

Survivior os easier on controller. And thats because survivior does not have to aim, having 100% freedom of movement without having to move your camera is the only advantage of controller over k&m. And the advantage of mouse is the ability to aim precisely. And as I said, surviviors do not have to aim. Just like for example Dark Souls is easier on controller, because precise character movement is more important than precise camera aiming.

They have said there working on increasing sensitivity for months now..and a day is two ago on a stream..but it’s not been released so I feel like it’s either a small team or they just don’t care
