"Pop Goes The Weasel" Should Work Like "Thrilling Tremors"
Don't know what either of these perks do? Keep reading. If you already know, skip to the "🔪" emoji. Pop Goes The Weasel/PGTW makes it so that the next generator you kick after hooking someone immediatly regress 25% of the generator.
Thrilling Tremors blocks all generators not being worked on when you pick someone up.
🔪 So they both seem like good, similar perks. Right? Well, almost. PGTW is VERY strong and it works EVERY time you hook someone. Thrilling Tremors has a cool down. "But so does PGTW!" I hear you add. No, it doesn't. it has a TIMER, NOT a cooldown. There's a difference. The timer gives you the amount of time you can kick the gen.
Let's use an example. I have PGTW active and ready to kick. I down another survivor and hook them. The timer will RESET.
I'm using Thrilling Tremors. I down someone, pick them up, and gens are blocked. The perk goes into cooldown. I down someone else, pick them up, and the perk doesn't activate. Because it's ON cooldown.
This was hard to explain, but I hope I got the point across and that you understood.

I think PGTW is fine, ruin had it’s nerf, PGTW should stay, but they could eliminate a bit of synergy, Pop is an amazing perk and probably the only reason people get clown, and clown can’t die in hell, besides it’s not like he is already there

I understand what you mean but PGTW already has a downside ; you have to make it to a gen. I run PGTW in most of my builds now as my only slowdown perk save maybe sloppy and I'd say 50% of the time I'm on my way to use pop on a gen it gets finished before I can even get there running in a straight line.

so you hate that it resets but you want a cooldown? i dont even think you know what you want, if you was smart youd keep that person down, pop a gen then hook them and then pop another gen, or the same one if a survivors touches it. pop doesnt need a change, its perfect how it is. surge however is pretty ######### due to its small range and small %

I don't think pgtw needs a cooldown as its use can then be more strategically used. Its fine how it is as it gives more choices when to use it.
The reason for the cooldown on TT is apparent since its use is passive after a hook while with pgtw it needs an interaction after each hook so would be an unnecessary nerf to it imo.

They want Pop Goes The Weasel to reward the Killer for hooking someone and incentivize them to not camp using that reward.
Thrilling Tremors has a cooldown cause otherwise it could be spammed, and whether that would be OP or useless, they just generally don't want it to be spammed.
You can't spam Pop Goes The Weasel, so no cooldown is needed, and if there was, and the Killer hooks someone during the cooldown, they get no new charge and are thus not more incentivized to not camp.

Why do you want PGTW changed? It rewards a killer for doing the job and hooking someone.
I'm not against a shorter cooldown because I love TT, but if it worked on every pick up you could effectively with some people's lvl of skill have gens blocked all match.

I have a counter suggestion; let's make Thrilling Tremors like PGTW and remove it's cooldown so any time you're picking someone up or hooking them you're getting information/blocking gens.

PGTW has the cooldown and its actually time it take killer to catch and hook another survivor.

PGTW has a limited number of uses (max of 12 but only like the first 5 matters), requires you to actively seek out a gen disregarding any potential chases along the way and can't be applied to regressing gens. Neither of these apply to Thrilling so they should not really be compared.

I agree that thrilling should work like pop. There should be no time limit penalty. You are getting punished for doing your job as killer.
Especially since ruin nerf it would be a major slow down tool if survivors chose to abandon gennys when someone was downed.
