EveryOne needs a little Clown in their Life. But everyone wants to end the Party too soon.Poor Clown covered in dust.

Since I got in the Red ranks I can't catch a break Using The Clown. I don't have trouble on smaller maps. Its It's the bigger ones that get me. I love playing as the clown he's one of my favorites killers.

I wish the clown could put traps on Gens so he can at least teleport or something so he could have chance on the bigger maps. Or his bottles did more. His bottle should have the same effect as Doctors shock at least giving you a window to end chase faster. So If survivor gets hit by the gas they can't use pallets or vault for few seconds. That would help Clown out I think.

But the main reason I'm posting is because I like to get some feed back from some Red Rank Killer or Clown mains.

What are the builds you use for Clown to make him more viable against Big maps and SWF?

I was using a slugging build but Survivors just DC on me so there goes that build out the window.

I am by no means a Clown main, but I typically perform well with him in red ranks.

I use STBFL, Brutal Strength, PGTW, and Hex: Devour Hope.

STBFL is really helpful with Clown because the attack cooldown is even more significant when survivors are running through your gas.

Brutal because smart survivors drop pallets prematurely against Clown.

    PGTW for gen slowdown.

Devour Hope is obviously big risk/reward, but getting even one instadown with Clown can be extremely rewarding as far as gen denial goes.

    Build: Play a different killer.

That is if you want to consistently play well. He will get destroyed by bad map rng and half way decent team of survivors.

I tried STBFL, Enduring, Spirit Fury and BBQ, you can change BBQ for PGTW, I just need more bloodpoints.

Enduring+Spirit Fury is a must. Probably NOED cause gens will get done quickly, and PGTW to at least help slow gens as much as possible.

Build to play clown in red ranks is to play freddy, can shut down loops almost as good as clown but has map pressure ontop.

Jokes aside I have seen most people running 3 core perks and 4th is flexible. BBQ, Brutal Strenght and Corrupt Intervention and 4th being pop or enduring in most cases.

I'm so burnt out playing Freddy,Spirit, and my main the Wraith. I know clowns flaws thats why I'm looking for 💎 in the rocks on forums. I know theres a red rank Clown main somewhere.

Ive mained Clown with StbfL, PgtW, Infectious Fright, and a 4th flexible perk that is usually either bamboozle or franklins demise.

Addons: solvent jug and anything, you prwctically remove most exaustion perks from the game as long as you hit your bottles, which you should.

No offense taken. I use to main clown when I was noob. But then found the Wraith and mastered the mind games with him. So yes my clown knowledge isnt the best. I had the game for 2 years and only touched Legion like twice . LOL

    I'm using

    BBQ

    Whispers

    PGTW

    Corrupt Intervention

With the Solvent Jug i think (the exhaustion one) and anything else, reload speed or extra bottles.

i'm experimenting with CI right now but have use STBFL before which can also be really good, get it stacked up, bottle someone, hit them, and between their slow and your recovery they usually cant get anywhere safe. But TBH, i do pretty well with chases as clown anyway, most of my chases end in < 20 seconds, but i have little map presences. This is why i have been trying out CI.

Thanks I'm going give that build try. I don't have to much of a problem in chases. I just have trouble keeping pressure on the Bigger maps. I usually slug in that situation but you know how that can go at times. I was thinking of using "Nemesis" and "Play with your food" for speed".To get to gens faster.

I go with Corrupt, STBFL, BBQ, and Brutal.

You want to throw bottles around the long side of a loop and then run the short side.

If you have 5+ stacks of STBFL throw a bottle before you hit the survivor.

If you're lucky, they'll run into a wall and you can get the down!

    Brutal Strength is a must.

STBFL is nice on Clown. Low cooldown + slowness from gas = quick down.

PGTW is great for slowing the game down, and perks like BBQ or Thrilling Tremors can help you find the right gen to kick.

For add-ons, I'd recommend solvent jug and starling feather. Jug negates exhaustion perks (except Sprint Burst) and starling feather will let you attack sooner after throwing a bottle.
