Hotfix // Misc Cosmetics improvement? // Still Lost Event Skins
Every single patch I see "Misc Cosmetics improvement" but I never see improvements?
There are still many buggy cosmetics which I have reported since the release of the Clown and they are still ingame. So I ask myself where can I see the improvement?
None of the reported bugs below have been fixed, so what exactly got a fix?
Would be nice to hear a statement or an update of a mod @Peanits @not_Queen @MandyTalk. Thank you in advance.

• Nea tank tops + skirts:
• Shirtless David:
• Feng Tshirt and "Stripes and Spots" skirt clipping:
• weird looking Feng "Cherry Blossom" skirt (overlapping parts):
• Claudettes buggy skirts (eg "Coconut skirt"):

This is the official statement regarding event cosmetics :
"At the time of the announcement, last month, we had no way to isolate players who had earned these cosmetics. Since then, we have found a way to isolate the players that have played the event and will be able to restore these four cosmetics on a large scale, only to players that earned them during the events. Keep an eye on the news, this will happen."
So they are aware and they are going to restore them "soon".
What I find annoying about this situation is that they still haven't actually fixed the bug that is causing this in the first place. I lost my event cosmetics last week.

I know about this "statement". They do not update us, all we hear is soon and thats the exact same thing they have done with the people who lost Legacy.
And the post also is about reporting multiple bugs multiple times which did not get a fix in almost 2 years. So I ask myself where are all the mis cosmetic improvements? I mean I listed a lot which were reported months or even years before and nobody fixed them.

The most up to date info I can give you on the missing event cosmetics is that we ran into a hurdle when trying to restore them, but we've since resolved that. We're hoping to get them back to you (and anyone else who is missing them) as soon as possible. I'll check to see if there are any other updates.
As far as misc cosmetic improvements, we'll see if we can expand on that in future updates to give more details as to what is changing. If you notice anything wrong with any cosmetics, please be sure to fill out a bug report if there isn't one already. We'll try to get to them as soon as we can.

Providing more detail on what you're changing would be amazing. I remember that one patch where you specifically listed changes such as reworking Megs hair, and adding the band aid on one of her outfits. I would love more of that.

I already reported most of these cosmetic bugs multiple times over the last 2 years, always with very detailed descriptions and a bug report (here in the forums and with support tickets). But seeing a bug for almost 2 years kinda feels like reporting a bug does not help. Thats why I created this post. I wanted to criticize that some bugs are there for almsot 2 years although they got reported. I hope at least some of these bugs will be fixed soon.
And thank you for checking if there are any other updates regarding the lost skins. I appreciate your work in the forums!

Yes we did, so far the art team does not have any plan to rework other hairstyle.

So for the Misc Cosmetics improvement, this is what we fixed for the 3.5.2
- Fixed in issue In The Rift when selecting any Cosmetic causing not to display a preview instantly.
- Fixed an issue in The Rift when selecting any Charms or any Cosmetic causing to display a preview that looks faded which is inconsistent with other areas of the application.
- Fixed an issue with The Spirit's Headband cosmetic hair models behave erratically once Yamaoka's Haunting has been channeled.
For a hotfix the number of fixed issues for cosmetics will always be smaller than a big update.
And for the next patch notes, we will make sure to add the full list so you know which one have been improved.

Would love for 'Night Out Nea' to be improved on. Favorite Nea head, and the hair definitely isn't terrible, but I'd like to see how it'd appear improved on like a lot of the newer hairstyles look.

So there is something going on with David's waste when he is wearing Hard Headlights (Shirtless) top, and the Fog Soldier Cargo Pants (Camo Pants/Boots).
When he get's hooked - he also get's cut in half... Yeah literally... His whole midsection across the top of his pants cut open as his torso is put on the hook, and then it realign's itself. Like a belly puppet mouth.
David is entity confirmed.

Can you suggest that they rework Kate's ponytail? It looks so blocky compared to Nancy's ponytail for example

Adding physics for default Feng Min and Nea Karlsson maybe? Those hairdos are really stiff, especially Feng's. Girl used way too much hairspray before entering the entity's realm.

As much as I remember correctly the 'Night Out Nea' looked worse before the hair rework. I dont know if they changed this cosmetic specifically or if they updated it with an UI update or with an hair update in general or anything like this. But I have to admit, it could need another update - especially when you compare it to other skins.

Thank you for putting that in the Patch Notes in the future! Usually I check all my cosmetics if they changed (at least the ones I use), this makes it a lot easier. :)
But I also would like to ask a question - will Neas Prestige (P1 and P3) ever be fixed/changed back to what it was?

The Blood is completely missing on her Cleavage (which makes it look odd when using another head than the P3-Head) and also no Blood is on the Beanie, it is really clean.

I want the old prestige back so badly as well. I think they changed it because it made her too dark which is pretty strange because blendettes are still a thing.

I really don't want to be rude, but what does "soon" mean in this context?
I reported a bug with Feng's Clothes (and it is not just a clipping issue, there is a hole in her body) more than 6 months ago:

I understand that there are alot of things, that need to be fixed but 6 months is a relativly long time. (Considering that her Front Tops have been available more than 2 years, this bug might be 2 years old too.)
The new community skin jacket has btw the same problem with the stripes and spots skirt.
Like I said, I don't want to be rude, but for me it feels like you don't care about old cosmetics anymore. I mean, the classic Ghostface skin was fixed relativly quick, after some people complained about it and said that they will not buy it, as long as it's buggy.
I don't know, it would be really nice, if you could atleast say something like "it is on our list, we are working on it".

But honestly, I don't get it, the cosmetics team is responsible for cosmetics, so they are also responsible for bugs with them and not the team, that handles other bugs, right? So why does it take them so long?
Idk, I feel its pretty unfair to let people buy someting bugged and then take ages to fix it.

Thats an official update by Peanits regarding the lost skins: "We do have a quick update for you: The issue we ran into before has been resolved and we're looking to send those cosmetics out to the people who earned them soon (hopefully within the next couple of days if all goes well)."

@PatBrutal Is there an answer now? Will they finally be adressed in the upcoming update next week since almost none of the issues posted here have been fixed in PTB? And some of the things are bugged for almost 2 years..

"Eventually"? Come on, this cant be a serious answer. We paid for skins which were not bugged and now they are. Dont get me wrong, its okay that we dont get an ETA yet and I appreciate that you answered but it should be looked at 100% since some of those issues are almost 2 years old.

Was it always bugged like this? I hope they start fixing those skins before adding more and more. Thats also kind of my criticism: There is almost every week a new skin, it shouldnt be that hard to look at existing skins, especially when they made money with them. At least they should notice that some skins are bugged (and this should have happened 1.5 years ago...)
