Banned for holding game hostage?
So i was playing a game last week as killer and i killed everyone but one surv. Hatch opened up and i found it first there was 3 gens left and no surv. In sight so i sat there waiting to see if i could see him before i shut the hatch
I didn't see him and he didn't try to do any of the gens left he just sat by the exit door waiting for me to close the hatch i did end closing it anyway and going to the door (at the time i didn't know he was waiting at the door) and killed him while he was trying to open the door after the game he messaged me and said "thanks for wasting my time, I reported you for holding the game hostage and hope you get banned" is this holding the game hostage or fair play? I just started playing about 2 months ago so im not sure but kinda had me worried if i can get introuble for playing this way

That's not holding the game hostage. They could have done gens.

Definitely not holding the game hostage. That's for situations like finding the last survivor and cornering them so they can't move. Dude was just salty he lost.

The only time you're holding the game hostage is if you are deliberately forcing the game to go on infinitely until you decide not to. For a survivor this is deliberately exploiting a glitch or something so the killer cant down them. For killer this is cornering a survivor so they cant move.
