I have gotten used to survivors using the hooked person as a meat shield, but i had a new one last night. I downed someone next to a hooked survivor and they crawled directly under the hook and i could not pick them up. They just kept moving slightly to the opposite side that i was on to prevent the pickup. I finally got them by faking which way i was going, but it wasted a good 30 to 45 seconds. Is this the new norm or is it a bug that will be fixed "soon"?

    I haven't heard of this before. It might be new. I bet you the devs will take their sweet time patching it since it helps their golden child.

    I remember that this was in the game a while ago. Don’t know if it was fixed and is now reappearing or just wasn’t used in the meantime.

    its not really that good of a strategy for survivors, is it? The hooked one is pretty gets to the next hook phase or another survivor I had to be nearby to unhook as soon as possible after Killer gets the downed one. That’s 3 survs off gen.

    Its there for few months at least. Not every hook works, but some of them do.
