What are your thoughts on “Immersed” survivors ?

I find them annoying and feel like they aren’t playing the game to the full potential.

It depends on what do you mean by "immersed"

If it means hiding in a corner, then as a Killer its annoying but also helpful (they are doing nothing), and as a Survivior its even more annoying (because they are doing nothing)

If it means "doing objectives stealthily", then as a Killer its annoying because you cant find them, but its also the most skilled tactic surviviors can do. As a Survivior its the hardest but also the strongest tactic, you can do gens right in the killers face, but he cant even find you.

    As Survivor:

As long as they are doing the Objective - great. Not everyone enjoys Chases and if someone wants to play stealthy, sure, as long as this does not mean that they are hiding the whole time, doing nothing and then escape via Hatch.

    As Killer:

I dont like them. If they are hiding and not doing the Objective thats kinda okish, but I still dont like it, because in the end, those Survivors who actually do something will be punished. If they are hiding well AND doing the Objective, it is boring and frustrating.

Had a game on Haddonfield, quite a few weeks ago, where I played Billy vs a Team with 3 really immersed Survivors. Whispers was on, but I was never able to find someone except for one Bill. After running two times into Bill and hooking him, I ignored him for the third time, because I felt kinda bad that he is the one suffering, because his Teammates are hiding. Got no Kill in the end, because I was nice to Bill and never found the others. Like, never. It was such a boring game, I dont expect to win on Haddonfield, but wandering around the Map looking for Survivors was so boring.

When sounds decide to work I can always hear them breathing and grass move so immersed play is pretty terrible. If sounds don't work and it's Blendette it's annoying and a crutch, trying to hide in plain sight is just uninteresting.

Hate em. Pls stop urban evasioning around the map getting all the totems and chests for 10 mins without touching a gen.

I don't mind somewhat stealthy teammates. But it's the ones who hear a faint TR and instantly hide or the ones who crouch walk all the way to the hook that annoy me. If they DO get found they die in 2 seconds. Sometimes I think if they ran in a straight line they'd last longer. (How are they in red ranks?)

Boring to play against as killer and very frustrating to play with as survivor.

I hate the teammates that Urban Evade around the map even thought the terror radius hasn't popped into their ears once.

But the ones that do gens are good.

Immersives who don't touch a generator give ME a bad name, and probably contribute to my camped/tunnelled matches.

I run a Stealth Claudette, but I do the damn objective. I have Spine Chill and default dark clothes. I don't like being chased.

I did actually run a full Immersive build in a custom game once and it was the most BORING THING EVER. I do not get how people can play that and consider it good or fun.

If there doing the objective that's fine. But if not I tunnel them. I want those out of my game as soon as possible. Luckily I don't get them often either.

Hate it. A soon as I see urban, I know they have spinechill and Everytime spinechill goes off even for a second, they are off the gen and urbaning to the corner

Fully immersive teamates that hide behind a corn and stay there for more than 1 min when they hear a terror, not touch a single gen, and crouch for the unhook are the worst and should die, the other half that actually support the team, have my respect.

You mean inefficient survivors? I just wish they didn't make it to red ranks, but that doesn't matter much anymore.
