So? If people really like this idea, why would they not be allowed to make their own post about it? The more people that vocalize their feedback and suggestions, the more likely the devs will A) See it and B) Consider it.

The thing about forums is that you shouldnt do an exact same thread is there is one active already.
Also I think devs would rather reply to one top thread with 1k views than to 10 threads about the same thing 100 views each

I don't think this fixes gen rushing completely. If you look at Otz's video, he would've still been genrushed using this idea. This would certainly help bring up low mobility/set up killesr but I'm fairly sure ppl would still be complaining about genrush after this.

Threads can still get buried even if they are technically active.
The devs don't have to feel obligated to respond to every thread about the same thing. They can just pick any of them if they want their feedback to be known.
Plus, multiple threads about the same thing gives quantitative feedback, not just qualitative. Thread after thread was made about the Ruin nerf. People didn't care that someone already made a post about it. They wanted to share their opinion, even if they were ultimately just saying what someone else already said.
