Will something be done for that? Or it will be neglected more?

DC tech? Are you ######### kidding me?

    It's a disconnect. It's not a tech or a strategy.

People need to stop saying everything is a tech or exploit. It's a ######### mechanic people abuse. Period.

Oh it is not only dc. They dc to enable last surv to insta jump into a hatch. So that is a strategy not only plane dc.

  • I wouldn't call it a tech then I would call it an exploit, and unintended abuse of game mechanics as the devs have stated.

I think they have gotten the message and are going to do something about it, but BHVR does things....very very very slowly. So it could be months off but I imagine they will do something about it.

    Thats why its a tech.

Ther is no bug involved, its a TECHNIQUE that uses existing MECHANIC in an inconventional way. But it should be changed because its bullshit.

It involves disconnecting, which is something they've already tested a punishment system for. So yeah, something will be done about it indirectly as disconnecting in general will be more discouraged.

  • That isn't a technique, it's an exploit.

That's like calling abusing the basement bug when it was major a technique. The only reason you would do that is literally to try and urk people because logically you wouldn't call it that.

    Basement Bug was a BUG.

    DC is a mechanic.

Abusing a bug(exploit) is called exploiting.

Abusing a mechanic is called technique

First one CAN be banable, second NEVER

DC should bring harsh bans. It's an real issue I cant go a single night of play without people abusing it and ruining fun.

What you play and want you feel it should be called is totally irrelevant. Things is called like they are and it is proven that downed survivor wait till other find hatch so that he/she can dc. That is tech and call it how it is instead masking it with lies and misleading names.

While i played killer before unfair nerfs, that didn't bother me much since i don't care if they get salty. But as surv it is unplayable, even if i rush to save so that they don't kill themselves on the hook they just leave. It is nightmare to play with entitled "high" rank players that is dcing after first down or in fail attempt to be under the hook or t-baging.

While on the other side if we have 1v2 situation the one is waiting for other to find a hatch then dc.

If you eat a soup using a spoon, its a normal thing.

But if you menage to eat a soup using a knife (and its easier/better/faster) then its a technique.

Because you found a way to do something better in a way different from a normal one, using items that have different uses.

But dont worry, its not an exploit, because you gained an advantage in a fair way, a way that everyone skilled enough can do.

We do not encourage DC'ing in any way. Right now DC's are automatic so when a certain threshold is reached a temporary ban is placed on the account. We have another system recently where the timeout is applied at the end of the match, and further testing needs to be done on this system prior to that being implemented in the game.

There is no DC Tech - DC'ing is against the spirit of the game, and promoting DC's is against our forum rules.
