Killer Perk: Finish What You Start
This perk activates any time survivors start working on a gen. If they stop interacting with it (as in zero survivors are actively interacting) then it becomes blocked by the Entity for 20/40/60 seconds. There is no cooldown or limit to how many gens can be blocked at once. Killers can still kick blocked gens, but regression doesn’t begin until the block expires.

Why not just buff Thrilling Tremors :'(

I’m looking at this as more of an answer to gen tapping during a chase. I also like forcing survivors to decide between using up (and losing) their toolbox or letting go and losing all that time that the toolbox bought for them.

Interesting, I have no problem with the perk besides the duration. There are situations where the killer will get survivors into a triple generator strategy, which can lead to generators becoming near impossible to do, especially if it's combined with other perks.
It should, in my opinion, be 20/25/30 seconds so the first tier isn't completely useless or remain 60 seconds with a 20/25/30 cool-down that starts after the block ends. 😁

Solution to gen tapping during chase: don't kick gens when survivors are close enough to safely tap them. Changing the entire entity blocking mechanic seems like overkill.

According to some, they "implemented" a system to where survivors have to work on a generator for a specific amount of time before it stops regressing. Obviously, not in the same fashion that they implemented the DS bug fix for Doctor, but meh.

I agree. I was wondering if my times were too long to begin with. 20/25/30 should still serve the purpose well.
I am against it having a cooldown though. Tapping during a chase should be punished, no matter how recently the gen became unblocked. If you’re gonna touch a gen, be ready to commit, eh?

There is one: Overcharge.
Survivors won't expect to do a skill check mid-chase. 😁

For me,op. Better add a cooldown. I also mind the block duration. Maybe keep it but make it to affect only 2/3 gens at once?
I'm also thinking about the new survivors who will start working and stopped cuz they heard a heartbeat.
BTW,I believe that it shouldn't reveal the broken gens with white aura because the killer will always know if all the gens are worked on or not. It's like surveillance/thrilling tremors/hex: ruin

The better solution to gen-tapping is to have the regression stay until a gen has been worked on by survivor(s) for t seconds, where t equals the amount of time it takes the killer to complete a gen-kick animation (without Brutal Strength).
If the survivors don't work on the gen for 2 (e.g.) seconds straight then the regression stays

probably a bit too strong. I love the idea though. It's really cool

Ahm... that would be absurdly overpowered. Instead of 60 seconds ( sry but.. #########? ) maybe 5 or 10 seconds, and i am not sure if that is not already to strong (imagine Hillbilly running this)

I don't know why this isn't in the game yet...

About the perk: no aura, shorter duration and I guess it's an okay perk. Basically it'd be the non-hex version of new ruin.

Thank you to everyone for the feedback. Yes, 60 seconds was too long, I acknowledge that. Somewhere between 15-25 should be just fine.
I still really like the idea of this perk activating due to survivor actions and decisions rather than the killer’s.
It also really makes you analyze your toolbox usage. (My toolbox is just under half. Do I use it or not? It might save me 10 seconds, but then I’ll hafta wait 15 unless I use it up..... decisions decisions....)

Yeah give killer more perks where they do not have anything to do for lol

Yeah this would be extremely OP. Imagine a killer like Billy using this. All he would have to do is zoom from gen to gen. They would become constantly blocked and it would be impossible for the survivors to do anything about it. It would be a hostage perk.
Or there’s also Freddy who could just teleport to gens and block them.
