New Clown Idea: Map Pressure - Toxic Fog
How about this:
The Clown has a charged secondary power similar to the Doctor.
Once charged, the Clown can activate the power. After a 5 second countdown, the entire map is engulfed in a toxic fog. The only way survivors can avoid the toxic fog is by hiding in a locker. If a survivor is caught in the toxic fog, their aura is revealed for a limited time and they are subjected to the effects of the Clown's add-ons. The toxic fog lasts for 3 seconds.

But there is no warning with Doc's static blast. With this the survivors have a 5 second opportunity to hide.

The map-wide effect seems a bit overkill, but what if it was just centered around the generators as a means of tracking?
Let's say, using the same interface as Freddy's teleport, every... 30 or so seconds, the clown could look at a generator to make it spew toxic gas that makes survivors scream.

What if the killer had a new tonic that had a charge up time and/or cooldown time, could only be used when not in a chase, and when thrown and walked through would breifly boost the Clown's move speed?
An addon could let the Clown see the progression of gens based on their aura intensity when walking through this new tonic.

I was thinking that the countdown could be a loud ominous HONK! followed by a small graphic appearing on the screen showing a white hand, which loses a finger with each passing second.

Or walking through one of his own clouds could give him a boost either to his movement speed (not recommended since survivors already get reduced speed from it, would be a bit too much) or to attack speed/lunge range, or something like that.

There is a warning - you can hear the Doctor charging his attacks and letting them go. The Blast has a discernabe charge-up sound compared to his Therapy.

Yeah but you have to be close enough to hear it, or do you hear the sound no matter where you are on the map or in his radius?

Was just in a match - outside of terror radius you can hear him using his powers - the blast makes an actual charging up sound and then a 'whoosh' across the map when used (usually how we identify it is a Doctor at match start lol). The other one just makes that pulsating sound as he uses it.

Mhm I'll have to pay closer attention next time I guess.. then again, I can't tell Hillbilly and Leatherface chainsaw sounds from one another (never bothered paying attention to the differences either haha)

Just a thought but what if there were toxic flowers around the map? Kind of like Bliss in Farcry. Instead of a secondary ability you could just activate one of the flowers and that will do a subtle pressure to not work in that area for too long or you'll get ill effects.
