I'm interested in the fate of Deathgarden, its assets and lore. I came with the concept of gameplay.

See we again them in complete new genre? Problem of game was in gameplay, that tried copypaste Dead by Daylight. Maybe try something like asymmetric MMO?

Feature of DbD matches is 10-20 minutes match duration, no big community interactions... what if we literally flip Deathgarden gameplay, lets imagine Runners go into "The Garden" not just for slick chance of getting in "Enclave" but mostly for resources with which they return and improve multiple Public Community Hubs on their choose instead of just themselfs. Add location with PvPvE with possibility do something with Hunters. Btw "Getting in Enclave" can be Late game content, the breaking point when Hunters start lose instead be "immortal being".

About "the Hunters" - they will compete eachother for better stuff (which upgrade armor/weapons) at "Enclave", gameplay based on tracking bases of "Runners" and defending Garden from overconfident intruders - instead one hunter, they could appear in groups. They have own single Hub with err... l'm still looking what they can do there.

[Summary] So two sides, four ways of long-term victory & defeat.

Runner's Side:

  • Build bases across world, they public - a life meter of Runners team - they are on timer (~1 week of real time?);
  • Go to "Garden" & risk life against elite troops of "the Enclave" to get good amount resources to make bases better, maybe increase their concealment level;
  • Discover the "Scorched Outlands", a PvE location to get less resource, control search progress of Hunter's;
  • Late game determines - they have two-three fully upgraded base with seasoned Runners then they can try assault "the Enclave". If victory achieved - world restarts, but players don't & they keep most (or all) their upgrades.

Hunter's Side:

  • With advanced technology of "Enclave" investigate a "Scorched Outlands" - track down activity of Old world before late;
  • Up ranks as elite soldier - the Hunter, by hunting down Runners and progressing in searching;
  • With intel from HQ - make raid as elite troop of "Enclave" on potential Runners base or do huge increase of search progress or with possible fail & resource waste.
  • Late game for Hunters is assault on Runners last base - after which most likely they won't recover or can by creating base in other place. Game time is limited so they can't "escape" too long - because Hunter's side surveillance become stronger each day.

Thats it. l'm think over it around half-year, after seen opening cutscene of Deathgarden... it magically solved a "rubik's cube" in my head.

P.s l'm not good at english, learning it. Maybe unexisting level A1.5...lol... l'm know enough words... but my grammar sucks. Native language is Russian - will be glad if someone help me translate thoughts better.
