An idea of how to not only increase killer pressure, but also bring back horror and rework mist
It's currently... 2:50 AM here so don't eat me alive if this is stupid. But hear me out. You know how some older games would have a sort of "foggy" look past the render distance? I think this could be worked into DBD. From now on, survivors have a set amount of area around them they can see clearly. Past this it is translucent, and past that nearly opaque. Mist offerings could make this radius larger or smaller, depending on the type. Killers would have no such limitations- for balance purposes, a light mist is all the killer sees. In my humble opinion, this could help with large maps and corn or very open maps such as Autohaven Wreckers, so survivors don't run away when they see the killer patrolling gens from 60 meters away. Probably a stupid idea, but it's something. I thought it might add a sort of "silent hill" type horror to it, not knowing where the killer would pop out from next. Imagine playing against and Oni and seeing him charge at you from out of the mist, or a Demogorgon suddenly flying in. Cool stuff, y'know? Gimme some feedback.

This is what the cinematic chapter reveal trailers have led me to believe about the Fog, but maybe it's only thicc during abduction and not during trials

That would be cool. easiest way of adding horror ours to remove the terror radius and red stain.
