Why is The Cannibal better than people say?

Ok hear me out, I've heard about everyone give crap to Leatherface, which 100% has reason for some people. But some of his add-ons are actually useful (I use The Grease and Worlds Famous Chili) like the scratch marks and the charge time add-ons. His power as well I used to think was very lackluster but I'm rank 2 and I can still pull off 4k's almost every game with it. Does anyone either agree or disagree with me? I also 100% understand why people dislike him though

He's better now because of Nemesis/ PWYF. At least you can catch up to people as Billy-lite.

    I like him.

He can saw through pallets, multi-down and has good base perks.

He's obviously the most dangerous killer for close hook security (camping 😂) and basement interactions (deep camping😂).

But I started using a new set of perks with him to combat the match-making debacle, and I'm having respectable results.

Used Corrupt Intervention to slow down the early gen-poppage.

Started using Thrilling Tremors to also ease gen-rush fever.

Had Discordance to spot those troublesome '2/3 on a gen' superpoppers.

And finished off with BBQ&C to find those muppets and soak up the bloodpoints.

    Bubba is good.

I also usually run these add-ons as yeah, The Beasts Marks and the Carb Tuning is really good but thanks

His base chainsaw is so bad that it's nearly impossible to use well (in my experience). He just feels so sluggish and unrewarding

What I'll do is use either The Beasts Marks and Carb Tuning or Chilli to get up to them faster, but base chainsaw you just need to get close to them. You can put on a lot of pressure onto a survivor if you use the correct perks, too (PWYF, Nemesis, ect)

He was hacked together quickly. His power was lazily done and most of his addons are copy and pasted over from The Hillbilly. Unless you can catch survivors in the open his saw is useless and hurts him more than it helps except in cases where you want to camp.

In my honest opinion he is one of the worst killers in DBD. I and everyone else only loves him because he is a meme and i love to play him drunk. Hes great for being a brain dead killer that holds W.

That is a really good point that I find really annoying, most of his add-ons being copy pasted from Billy was stupid and annoying, and I think the devs got too excited when they got the licensing to use Bubba, but if you can apply pressure properly and use his power in right situations, you're even able to take out survivors in loops or tiles with your chainsaw

The chili add ons don't work but other than that i do like sawing thru 2 people.

Most red ranks have like 1 week of playtime these days so any killer can perform well regardless of the build even. I just saw a rank 4 with 2 days of playtime.

I've noticed they accelerate during the end of the chainsaw sprint, so it builds up to the speed making it faster at the end, but that being said The Beasts Marks add-on is by far much better

To each their own on how they spend their disposable income. I didn't have to buy multiple DLCs specifically to make him more viable that's just a better combo to use on him. If you think that's the case then that's a design issue and you know who to take that up with.

Oni is buyable with shards, but, and this is I feel the most important point. You can't if you buy dlc lol, for a character that's only buyable dlc. That's like saying if you play killer, lol.

Leatherface has a hard time against good survivors, but he wrecks potatoes, and he angers them with BBQ and Franklin's. BBQ let's you see where the Blendettes hide and if they don't want to get sawed, you whack them with a hammer and get a free toolbox.
