DS Ideas (From someone who hasnt used it)
Gonna be spit balling random ideas ive formed from encountering survivors with it/Watching teammates use it. (Dont have mires bundle yet so cant speak from experience using it)
First off I know its purpose is to punish tunneling and repeat hooking which makes sense, its no fun being hooked, getting unhooked, running 5 feet only to be downed and hooked again. so lets adress how to do that WITHOUT giving survivors a 1 minute get out of jail free card.
Idea 1: Make it activate if you were unhooked inside the killers terror radius. helps with the whole anti camping tunnleing strat by encouraging killers to leave hooks to pressure gens and chase other survivors for awhile. Problems: Undetactable removes this perk so incedious, dark devotion, Pig crouch etc breaks this.
Idea 2: ... you know I started writing this then realised that most ideas I had get countered by the undetectable status or low terror radius... maybe just make the stun harsher and give the exaustion haste effect, but the overall duration to activate shorter but have it so going down during that time pauses the timer so even if they down you and slug they cant just wait 60 seconds come back and hook you.

I'd rather see it have either a shortened duration (like borrowed time, 15-30 seconds) or have it deactivate once you interact with something (other than vaults/pallets)

Idea 1: you said yourself that undetectable/oblivious removes the perk's effect.
Idea 2: just no. that would be impossible to get it to work and even if it did, it would make killers DC or leave you on the ground forever just so they don't get stunned.
From someone who uses DS as part of my everyday build, these ideas just aren't going to work. I personally think DS is fine as-is.

Ds really isn't awful. It becomes awful if multiple people are running it. Though you can't prevent that from happening, I'd say maybe reduce the stun time if you've been stunned once already by it.

Eh it seems to be commonplace to have 3-4 survivors running it, so when you see them after they got unhooked you just have to let them go cause god knows youll just down them they stun you and youll have wasted your time.

i usually only see 1 or 2 running it rarely will them all with it. You could also just slug them if you think that.

15-30 seconds timer on DS Will be terrible. Killers Will have wait a but and thats all.

I mean all they do is wait now anyway, 15-30 seconds is a crazy long time for killers. That's almost half a gen (which there are only 5) that you're wasting. You have to get 12 hooks to kill the 4 survivors, they can dance around 5 gens and easily control the pace of the game.
Any time your standing still or "waiting" on something you're shooting yourself in the foot.

What if you make it deactivate once two other survivors have been hooked after you’ve been unhooked? I’ve seen people counter argue one other survivor getting hooked before DS deactivating but surely if the Killer has hooked two other people (even if it’s within a minute), it’s safe to say he’s not tunneling you anymore.
