If I Made: The Pig
Intro
Hello again I'm The Milk Man and today I wanna start a new series of discussions. I wanna talk about how I would've made certain things in Dead by Daylight and give my reasons why. Obviously I'm not a balance god but I think I've played enough to create a post about this. My goal is to get the gears of the community turning and maybe even get some changes for killers and survivors.
JIGSAW'S BAPTISM: REVERSE BEAR TRAPS
Reverse bear traps currently don't feel good on either side. Sometimes the survivors get it off first try, sometimes it's the last one. So I propose a change to the jigsaw boxes. Instead of each trap having a specific box, instead every survivor gets a random number of searches. In addition to this, I think Amanda needs 1 throw away trap, meaning her base amount will be five. I'm not sure if I would take away the Last Will add on that she has (which could give her a total of 6 RTBs). I'm questioning my idea of the Reverse Bear Trap changes so let me know what you think.
Jigsaw's Baptism: Crouch
Crouching isn't a big problem for the pig. She's lower to the ground so survivors can't see her, she has no terror radius, but in return she walks slower so it's fair. However, the main problem I see with the power is the crouch recovery speed and line of sight. In most maps, grass blocks her sight while crouched which hinders her ability to find survivors. I'd make her crouch more of a kneel which might ruin the power.
The next idea for a change is the recovery from being crouched. After crouching, the stance back into standing is long and is barely a choice in the chase. I think they should change the speed of crouch recovery, but not the speed it takes to go crouched.
Jigsaw's Baptism: Ambush
The ambush attack that the pig has is surprisingly ineffective. In my many games I played (both for testing and for fun) I used the power maybe 20-ish times (give or take).The power has it's uses but I have a small tweak that will definitely need to be tested if it ever happens (you guys have a PTB for a reason lol). Once you begin to charge up the ambush attack a pig growl comes from the pig. Now remember I said once you begin the charge. I think the growl should start half way through the charge. This'll give the survivor a smaller time frame to escape but doesn't give the pig a 100% chance to hit the survivor. If it seems not balanced properly, you can decrease the time ambush is active for.
THE TERROR RADIUS
It surprised me a lot that her base terror radius was 32 meters, the same size as the trappers base TR. However, her play-style (being stealth and quick attacks) doesn't fit a terror radius of this size. Sure, crouching eliminates this but it also slows her down a bit. And even for a thematic reason (because the devs want the game to be thematic lol) it would make more since for her to have a smaller terror radius because she is much smaller than the majority of the killers. If I could choose to change the terror radius, I'd revert it to 28 meters or even change it to 24 meters. This will assist the pig in her stealthy play style.
The Speed
I found myself content with the pigs normal speed. It complements her slow/stealthy play-style. And her crouched speed causes her to move slower with no terror radius. It fits the character and her play-style.
Final Thoughts
I believe these changes could change the killer forever. Utilizing stealth and the ability to uncrouch fast to gain the advantage in the chase. I wanna here what you have to say and how you'd change the pig as well! Keep the chat constructive. Thanks for reading.

One thing I want to mention here is that the reason Pig's camera angle sucks while she's crouching is because the camera placement for Killer's is generally at the neck. Not actually their face/head.
Otherwise, these would be some decent changes. Do you think there should be a minimum amount of Jigsaw Boxes required to search? What about the search time? You think it should stay 10 seconds?

What does changing it from "one box has the key" to "you gotta search X boxes, where X is randomly determined" accomplish, if you don't mind me asking? To me, it still seems like the end result is the same in practice.

What if you have 5 traps then each takes a random amount of searches, but each can only take a search number once? So the traps could take 1,2,3,4,5 searches or maybe 4,2,3,5,1 searches.

I'm pretty sure what he means is that, when the trap is placed on your head, the game decides an amount of boxes you have to search before getting the trap off.

That would require an extra box, as there are only four boxes base kit.
