So now that we have DC penalties can we get rid of the struggle phase?

...or at least the option to ######### on the hook. I realize this would be frustrating for late-game hatch escapes for survivors but I'm really annoyed by the number of people that are "DCing" by just killing themselves on the hook now. Implementing a DC penalty doesn't really have much of an effect if there are still ways to take yourself out of the game prematurely.

I agree in principle to remove the struggle phase: it is only an annoyance which doesn't add anything to the player experience - in fact it just adds to the frustration of the hooked survivor especially if there's a lag spike or a fake unhook which could lead to an abrupt end of the struggling.

This being said, it wouldn't solve the suicide problem at all - players would just run straight to the killer to get downed again (...robbing you of a safe unhook in the process), or even become spiteful to other players.

The only solution to avoid throwing / suicides is a good ranking system, that's what I think.

I really like the idea for the new hidden elo system, but there needs to be a way to have at least a general idea of the skill level you're at/playing against.

If a survivor is throwing themselves at the killer though that still buys enough time to do a gen or two. So it'd be better than them getting hooked once and taking themselves out of the game. The killer is already on the way to the rest of us.
