What's your least favorite holiday?
Mines EASILY Valentine's Day, I DESPISE Feb. 14th for multiple reasons that I won't get into.
So what's yours? I call upon my friends/extended family to share in the hatred. @Unicorn, @pemberley and @GrootDude. My other friends have already shared their opinions but I want to hear YOUR opinions.

I'm not a big fan of Easter. Not a very fun holiday for me as nothing really happens other than my family taking me to a church with them even though I'm not much into religion.

Probably April Fools, it’s such a dumb “holiday” and just annoying. Especially when you have a younger brother who tries to trick you every second and pretending like he got you to make him happy.

Either Valentines or Easter.
Here’s my reasoning for Valentines:
Valentines: A big middle finger to everyone who does not have a significant other to share it with. It’s also a massive day to sell overpriced flowers and jewelry... especially on the guy’s part. It’s also the date of a massacre and I’m surprised people sweep that under the rug.
Easter... well, If I said here, I might get jailed/banned. I’ll just say I don’t like Christianity (or any religion) that much.
A bit serious, but those are the two I dislike the most.

St. Patrick's day, just because it seems more pointless to me than Valentine's day. I ONLY dont slightly dislike Valentine's for the fact that maybe one day I could get a s/o but that's just me dreaming so...######### it too

Honestly, have you spoken to them about it? Or would they kinda just blow it off?

I'm usually happy that I'm a only child, that's one of the pluses. I do agree with you though, it's a dumb holiday and after getting "fooled" so many times in one day, it just makes you roll your eyes.

That, that right there, the very first sentence is one of the many reasons why I LOATHE Feb 14th so much. It also doesn't help that so much commercialism is shoved down your throat that day.
I do get it with Easter but growing up in a semi religious household(not religious AT ALL personally) I was kinda forced into a bit of awkward situations myself. I'd be a liar if I didn't say I do have a slight enjoyment of the holiday because of family reasons.

I actually kinda like St. Patrick's Day, probably because it has a very fun atmosphere to it in my opinion. Feb 14th just outright blows in my book, for multiple reasons for me anyways.

I know people just use the holiday as an excuse to drink, same with cinco de mayo. And since I legally can't drink nor do I really intend to (I cant stand the smell of alcohol) it'll probably remain irrelevant to me personally

I can drink but I choose not too, for very personal reasons. I gotta say, the main reason I like it so much is probably because of the cupcakes that come with it. ;)

Mmm....cupcakes.....

I don’t like Columbus Day, it is great that he explored but we shouldn’t celebrate all the wrong he did.

So I just found out thanks to Groot that editing in names doesn't work. So, once again, I call upon now @Unicorn and @pemberley to share their most disliked holiday and please explain why.
1 -
Indigenous People’s Day should replace Columbus Day and his statues should be dismantled.
3 -
Agreed.

Lucky lol, i’m the good sibling so I let him play it out but sometimes he’ll literally trip me or spay me with water and say “april fools!” I really just want to punch him when he does that but I have to keep my cool. 🤣

My least favorite holidays are between July 4th and New Years. July 4th because of the loud noises of fireworks (or is it gunshots?) and the jingoistic patriots. New Years because it’s always been a tough time for me personally, aggravated further by depression.

They know but I usually just go anyway just to keep them happy. :P

I'd probably would to be completely honest. xD
That probably gets annoying real quick.

Aww, that's nice of you to do but, to be frank, if you really don't want to do that then you shouldn't, don't make yourself miserable now!

Christmas. Because it starts the day after the best holiday (Halloween) and makes simple things like making groceries and purchasing a new sketchbook or art supplies hell on Earth. I don't really hate the holiday itself just all the inconveniences the holiday brings which last far too long.
3 -
Yeah, gotta grab any supplies you can before Christmas. xD

If we are talking the more popular holidays (so not holidays like Labor Day or Columbus Day) I absolutely hate Valentine’s Day. I love the decor and colors but I hate the romance around it. I’ve never been a romantic type person. I just go out with friends and go eat somewhere.
I used to like Easter when I was younger but now I typically work on Easter so it’s not my cup of tea.
1 -
Can't tell if I'm the romantic type if I've been in zero romances. xD... ;_;
Glad to know I'm not the only person who hates Feb 14th.

Ayyye same. We can celebrate Single Awareness Day together
ʕっ•ᴥ•ʔっ
I’ve just never been the type of person who wants go on dates with an S/O or gets flowers and chocolates. I’m very independent.
2 -
Single awareness day! xD
You see, I've always wanted a S/O, just never was able to get any.

Ayyye...by the way if it’s fine with you, do mind if I add you on PS4? I see you play quite a bit with @GrootDude
1 -
Sure, always looking for more friends. ^_^

Valentine's.
Because I'm forever alone.

Same!

St George's day. In the UK everyone gets their own Patron Saints day off school and work.
Except England. If anybody flies St George's flag (The national flag of England) they get called a racist and have chip butties thrown at them.
