Are the Devs looking into wait times?

I noticed after PS4 got dedicated servers, the wait time has exponentially doubled for survior 5- 8 minutes vs the previous 2-3 minutes. It is even longer with survive with friends. Will the Devs be looking into this to fix it ?

    Thanks for your answer, I noticed matchmaking is a bit cleaner in terms of rank lately but I mostly play on weekends when I'm betting most people are on.

    It's not necessarily a server thing. It's mostly from a lack of killers for many reasons (you can look around the forums for info). There's also a lack of certain players at certain ranks (Rank 1 killers for example). I'm on PS4 and it also fluctuates depending on the day and what time it is. It actually seemingly just started to match people of whatever rank,to try to get the wait times down (speculating here). You'll see low rank killers up against high rank survivors. I don't think there's really anything they could do, besides entice more players to get into the game. I'm assuming it matches by rank,then region,then looks further out if it can't meet that criteria in a certain amount of time. Like most games. Unfortunately just takes awhile. It could be worse though.

    I'm yellow rank at killer and I constantly face red and purple rank survivor who not only bully me but also BM me during the entire game. At this point I'd rather wait a whooping 30min for a balance match than having 8match in 1h and face better player all the time. I'm on PC by the way.
