Has Anybody Else Bought Auric Cells They Refuse To Give You?
I bought two packs of cells due to the one I tried buying not showing up. I figured it would be no big deal so I contacted Microsoft (Xbox) and they told me the devs had the money and it was out of their hands at this point. Now I've spent days trying to get my cells or money from BHVR and they keep trying to mark my ticket as solved. Is this normal for this game now? I had this happen before but they actually gave me what I paid for that time instead of being rude and deceptive.

If it is solved u should have the cells if not then keep contacting them

I have been responding continuously but they keep rudely closing it. It's super frustrating because if Microsoft says the devs have my money then I damn sure trust them more than BHVR.

It is probably buried under the million other....i got mori'd, i got NOED'd and i got camped complaints.
If you have the financial records id show them that.

They claimed they never got the money and can't help me. Microsoft said they gave the money and I even attached the order history proving it but they haven't acknowledged that they've even looked at it. They even ignored one response entirely and claimed it was blank even though you could see it in their reply where it says to put it above the line.

I'm sorry to hear that. The other person that might be able to help is @Suggestive, she's the head of the Customer Support team so she might be able to shed some light on what's going on.

Post your purchase receipts on the forums or wheevrer to continue getting your complaint out to the devs

When did you make the purchase? I used to work for a bank and card purchases pend on an account for 3 to 5 business days. If the purchase didn't go through then after that amount of time the funds would be released back into your account. If it posts or has already posted to the account and is no longer a pending transaction you can file a dispute with your bank as "Services or Goods not received" and the bank will look into it and get the money back for you.

I don't want to ruin your expirience... But... I will speak for myself. I did buy almost each killer dlc so far, and for now I did stop to purchase anything, until developers do listen to their community. It feels for a normal player like me, like they are doing what "they" want, and not what their players/veterans are complaining about. So until they really show some respect to their customers, I'll not purchase anything anymore. They do need us as Players, especially our Money. And a streamer I do watch a lot just lost for a reason he don't want to talk about, his "Fog Whisperer". I don't know the reason for it. But in sure, his opinions weren't "wanted" anymore. But that's just my theory. I got banned according to "Mandy talk" on a Livestream, because I did "insult" the developers. If this would be the case, I would have agreed to the ban on their twitch channel. But I'm a person which highly avoid twitch, due to the fact I hate the platform. So much more the "probability" of going online to be rude, or feel the necessary of showing having big balls online at my age, are almost ridiculous. Anyways. Just my though. Contact the Support if you keep having troubles. Maybe they will reply after 20 more tickets. I couldn't expirience so far any bad behaviour" by contacting them so far on a ticket.
And as always. English ain't my native language. I don't write it in order to insult anyone or let someone feel bad. I just wrote down my personal thoughts. Thank you.

Unfortunately im a free to play-player mobile kinda sucks though since wraith is not free + the fact that licensed killers cost auric cells instead of iridescent shards

Good lord I can't believe how much feedback my Karen-level salt has gotten but it makes me feel even more justified than the borderline robbery already has. At this point I'm calling my money stolen although the financial person has given me a ray of hope.
I hope that you're right, but given that Microsoft already confirmed that the devs have my money I don't know how hopeful I could get. The person in charge of my ticket, Jarvs, simply does not want to do his or her job and only responds once or twice each day only to then continue ignoring me as they undoubtedly get busy marking other valid complaints as solved so the boss thinks their numbers looks good and gives them a raise. I'm really taken aback by the rudeness, incompetence, and deception. For contrast this is the last convo chain I had with support when I was shorted cells from the first rift and it was supposedly solved with a hotfix but not actually:

Not sure what the method was for giving lost cells back but I'm short on getting the 1000 that was promised by about 30 and should have 1200+ upon completion.

That was my first experience with support. Now I've spent literally DAYS trying to get my money when it took like 8 hours last time. Give me those two outfits, worth less than what I paid, and I'll gladly just call it good and cut my losses with the rest I have coming. OMG I didn't even realize the first ticket was over less than 200 cells. I remember that I was just shy of being able to buy the characters I planned on buying with the cells I got back from the rift and wasn't trying to buy more packs because I had just started in September and wasn't sold on the game 2 months in. Yes, I am literally an ethnically Jewish person if anybody was wondering and yes I put in a support ticket for less than two dollars worth of cells purely on principle. I guess they have a dollar limit somewhere that they use to determine when they put Jarvs on the case to jack you and stonewall you since they sent me cells the same day and actually gave me quite a bit extra which I did not expect and was happy to see. They must use the savings from cases like my recent one to pay out a fraction of their bonus money to poor fools who are just starting to get tricked into committing to their buggy and unbalanced yet addictive mess of a """game""".

Like I said. Watch your bank account. If it posts file the dispute with your bank for goods or services not received. It is a federal requirement, the bank has to look into it. If it doesn't post then the funds will go back into your account.

I usually don't comment on these sorts of things, as no matter what I say, people will also have negative things to say about my team. Here though I feel compelled to, before I get onto the main topic.
Tickets can be closed for a variety of reasons:
- For some reason the ticket went to our very old email address
- You've created multiple tickets about the same issue - these are merged into the original ticket and the others are marked as closed/solved
- It has been 7 days since we sent our last response and we haven't heard back - these are closed automatically
- Your ticket contains insults and/or profanity
- They've exhausted all avenues of potential fixes - the worst case scenario
Now, onto the meat of the topic. I have a theory as to what could have happened, but I'll need to ask something first:
How exactly did you buy the cells - was this done via the app, did you head to the MS store via web browser, if you did this in-game, did it lead you to a specific page?
For context, what I believe COULD be happening is that that the package of cells was for the Windows Store PC version of the game, rather than the XBOX version. Take a look at these two pages (no I'm not going to tell you to buy anything...) :
The names are the exact same - the only way you can see which version these packages are for is by looking at those tiny icons saying XBOX/PC. Unfortunately I've encountered this exact scenario in the past, hence why I am saying this. A person would still be debited, but they would not receive the cells - as each platform has its own Cloud ID.
Now I'm not saying this is what happened on this occasion, but it is possible. I do want this to be a warning though to other users, just in case.
As for a way forward - I don't have access to payments/transaction numbers myself, but I'm going to see if I can get an answer either from someone here, or via Microsoft. You've given me some purchase numbers so I am hoping we can find something.
However, I need to make you aware that I might fail and find nothing.
Either way, first I need to figure out the "why", then I'll know how to fix it.

I bought them from the webpage and I had the exact same idea as you. I thought maybe they were for the PC version. However, that would mean the PC version is part of the Xbox Game Pass since that's how I navigated to the cells to buy them and they were marked with that tag. I thank you for even asking that question because you're the first person from BHVR who has made an attempt to help me and that's all I ask is to feel like somebody cares about my problem.

I checked my order history and you're absolutely right, @Suggestive. The PC cells are not only marked with the Xbox Game Pass tag, but they have the Xbox Game Pass discount applied even though they're for a different platform. The cells are almost completely identical and somehow the search sent me to the PC version even though I searched Xbox on the store and that's what I purchased. I've never played DBD on PC so I suppose the cells are in limbo. If you guys are able to transfer them to my actual account I would be grateful and that's preferable to refunds or other options.

Whilst I'm happy we've figured things out - this does mean you're in a "less than optimal" situation (putting it nicely). In cases like this, our usual response is to contact MS for a refund as Jarvs mentioned, but I believe you have done this already.
I'll see what I can do. I might need to ask for a few more things that are of a more sensitive nature, so I'll likely be communicating via your ticket - please bear with me though, as I'm still waiting for Microsoft to come back to me too
