Dear Dead By Daylight: Wraith Changes (Excerpt)
Hello again,
I recently uploaded a document (and accompanying forum post) titled Dear Dead by Daylight which has been getting incredible feedback from you guys here in the community, but the biggest suggestion was to split all the change ideas into multiple documents to make them easily digestible. Today, I bring you suggestions for changing The Wraith. If you want to know my reasoning or check out the rest of the changes, I'll leave a link to the main post. Please leave constructive criticism and/or support, you're feedback is invaluable. Thanks again,
NorMak3
P.S. This list isn't perfect and I may change things on the main document based on new data, but I don't plan on changing anything on these fragment posts, so if something seems off, make sure to check the main document to make sure it isn't already fixed.
"Make his terror radius larger, but his bell noise has no direction, nor indication of distance, his speed during invisibility should be slightly increased (another 3% above its current speed), remove the noise of his footsteps while he’s invisible and slightly reduce the obviousness of his distortion, allow him to press the active ability button to ring the bell without going into or out of invisibility or slowing down, and his “Swift Hunt” addons, in addition to making him uncloak faster, make it so that movement after uncloaking and the initial speed boost is slightly decreased for 6 seconds for the mud tier (10% decrease), moderately decreased for the white tier (15% decrease), and considerably decreased for the blood tier (20% decrease) unless he cloaks again during that speed decrease, in which the speed decrease is negated.
- Consequential changes: Bone clapper makes it so when the wraith cloaks, it leaves behind a piece of distorted air that looks like him cloaked for 8 seconds. During this period, he shows no distortion where he goes. The mori’s a tad underwhelming, understandably so since he was only the second killer, but perhaps adding more aggressive noises and some more energy into the animation of the swings themselves could fix it so it doesn’t seem so stiff."
