A Concern About New Toolboxes [Keep It Civil Please?]

Maybe someone has brought this up already, but I'm a bit concerned about the new Toolboxes.

If they fix gens faster, but have less charges, if all 4 Survivors bring them won't that just let the Survivors crank out like 3 gens in the first minute of the game?

Won't this just make genrushing more of a thing, not less?

Like, sure the overall time saved doing a gen will be lower for one Survivor using a Toolbox since they'll have less Toolbox to use for multiple gens.

But if there are 3 or 4 Survivors all bringing them, won't it end up saving them more time instead? Since they'll only need to do 2 or 1 gen afterwards anyway?

I'm not saying or trying to say or trying to imply in any way "SOVIVURS OP!", "DEVS IZ TRASH IDIOTS!" or, "SURVIVOR BUFF OMEGALUL!"

I'm just a little concerned that this and the Sabotage change will just increase the divide between coordinated SWF and uncoordinated solo queues.

Anyone else have any thoughts?

    From what I'm taking from the Dev notes, is they seem to be changing them into a sort of BNP type item now. So Toolboxes will grant a small % of completion to Gens, like a BNP does. At least, it seems like that's how it works. But, if it is more than just a small part of the bar, then yes, Gen rushing will get worse. Hopefully the new toolboxes will be in todays PTB so we can find out just how fast or how much completion is done

    We just have to wait and see, its all about timing, we cant say this yet.

    But right now, if you see 4 toolboxes, you can guess it would be wise to dodge, that can still be the case then so np really.

    The fact that an item cant be used up however annoys me, that makes it a lot more carefree to use, rush till its empty and then play the game normally with that advantage on your side.
