Chain hitbox technical questions
I'm watching some streams since I'm on console and can't try it myself, and I'm very curious about how the chain hitboxes work.
Are they a traveling projectile with a very small radius (much less than a hatchet)? Are they not an actual hitbox, but a ray shot until a certain distance? Either way, is the hit registered instantaneously or the killer has to compensate for distance?
Does the chain obey the normal killer has priority with the hit detection (meaning: it doesn't matter where the survivor is from the POV of server/survivor, what matters is only the killer POV)?

From what i'm seeing, he's gonna be really f'ing hard on console as the hitbox on the spear is tiny, much smaller than hatchets. Huntress on hard mode, I wouldn't recommend console players buy him if he releases like that unless you just like him enough or want to try something new, just stick to huntress.

I'm a little unclear here, so sorry if I answer this wrong.
The spear itself is a projectile (like a hatchet). It is much smaller than a hatchet, but travels in a straight line much faster. It is not hitscan.
The chain, I'm not too sure about.
Being a projectile, it's a little more complicated than normal attacks.
