Question for the DEVs

I haven't created a game or helped set up any so I have no idea what's available or not, but with this new DC penalty would it be possible for the game to know when it's an actual connection issue from an intentional DC. I personally and a few others get penalized for our connection being spotty and it's slightly aggravating.

Would this be possible or is it not really something you can fix?

Apparently not. According to what the devs said in their latest stream, it's not actually possible for their system, or any system really, to tell the difference between, say, a game crash and someone manually ending the process, or between a network outage and someone intentionally turning off their internet to DC. So they basically have to either punish everyone or no one.
