DBD NEEDS this change
As a fellow console player, I can already tell that this killer is going to be unplayable and terrible on console.
Why? Because console aim is terrible.
We only have 1 setting to tune our aim which makes it really hard to play and aim hatchets with huntress or do quick flicks etc.
With this new killer having a heavy emphathis on his aim with his gun, I'm sure you can see the problem.
There is a simple solution to this.
Make it so there are separate sensitivity options when aiming with the killer and when not aiming.
Also do this when arming a hatchet as huntress.
This simple change will go a long way for console players and this new killer.
As well as this, further develop the sensitivity options on console.
Allow us to change the deadzones and smoothness of the aim, etc etc. Look at fortnite's controller aim options for reference and as an example.
Also, optimise console dbd. Lower the graphic settings and other stuff so the game runs smoothly.

I agree that there should be increased sensitivity options in general, but as far as you saying aiming is difficult, you're mistaken.
I mained Huntress for a long time, and now I main Demogorgon; I have zero issue with aiming and flicking. And from the looks of it, Deathslinger's Redeemer should be used mainly as anti-routing, much like Clown's Afterpiece Tonic. So complaining about aim sensitivity isn't gonna be an issue since (early observations) you should be patient with his shot and use it to deter vaults, early pallet drops, breaking LOS at certain positions, entering strong loops etc.
His Redeemer shouldn't be used like a Huntress Hatchet. The way I see Deathslinger is like a combination of Clown and Legion. He anti-routes the survivor to get early hits and prevent them going to strong loop areas for free; and also able to apply slowdown from a long distance if he doesn't want to commit to that strong loop zone, then go off and pressure someone else.
