New killer concept: The Cultist / Morgan Degray

This is design purely for the killer since this took quite a while to think of and write down I haven’t given time to creation of addons, survivor and perks for both sides.


The Cultist

Lore

Morgan Degray lost their parents during their early teens in a mining accident caused by a leak of poisonous gases. They were assigned into an orphanage where they were abused for several years. During this time they craved the most for punishment for abusive caretakes in their orphanage and spent most of their free time in orphanage’s library. Here they were once approached by a person dressed all in black with a cape covering their face. They asked they what they wanted the most and they answer was obvious. They asked for punishment for their orphanage caretakers. The shrouded person nodded and left without a word. In a few weeks Morgan woke from their sleep in the middle of the night awakened by loud noises coming from downstairs. The sounds were coming from the administration room. There they found in the middle of the room, caretakers drugged into sleep surrounded by seance of people dressed in black robes. One of them approached Morgan holding a robe exactly as their asking to join them. Morgan out of fear and spite for the caretakers nodded and took the robes. Seance started once the caretakers awoke from their sleep and Morgan was asked to be the one to cut them up as offering to their god.

After the deed was done Morgan felt disgusted but also relieved that they got what was coming to them. They decided to stay with the cult as they had nowhere to go. They were a part of many more bloody seances for several years as they lived under strict rules of the cult where the most important one was that there was no individuality. Everyone had to give all of themselves for the sake of bringing more sacrifices to their god to calm their hunger for human suffering and possibly someone of them being chosen as they envoy of pain to bring eternal suffering in the afterlife as servant of their god.

As the years gone on they began hearing voices in their head telling them to free themselves of the cult and their shackling rules. Morgan slowly began to believe that the voice may even be a sign that the god that the cult spoke of actually is real and is asking Morgan to make final sacrifice of their fellow cultists and be as the voice said, awarded their freedom as a reward. Morgan decided that he’ll do as the voices say and began the preparations. Each night they waited for the perfect opportunity to slit throat for their companions and eventually the opportunity appeared.

With each throat slit the voice grew stronger and louder. Morgan, now doubting that he’ll be able to continue since the voices made their hands shake and their head started to shake. Just as the last of them release their final breath, the voice suddenly began shouting at Morgan to take their life as well. Terrified Morgan tried to let go of their sacrificial blade but learned that their hand moved on it’s own. Slowly approaching Morgan’s throat he tried to scream for mercy shouting that they’ll do anything if their life is spared. Their hand stopped. The voices asked “Anything?”  as Morgan nodded. Dark fog surrounded them as they lost their consciousness.

Eventually Police found the latest lair of the said cult and inside incredible amount of human bodies with their throats slit all wearing blood soaked robes with one exception of completely clean robe lying on the ground without any sign of it’s owner.


Base stats:

All statistics change each time The Seance grows in strength (for example starting 24 terror radius is increased then after first stage of Seance is gained it increases and again with second stage and if the seance reverts into previous  stage so do these stats)

Stats change with each stage of seance 0/1/2

-      Movement speed = 110%/105%/100%

-      Terror radius = 24/32/40 meters

-      Space distortions = none / half / all hooks


Power: The Seance

1.  Seance circle

Removes basement hooks and replaces them with the seance circle that is activated each time killer brings blood sacrifice from 2/3/4 individual survivors.

Blood sacrifice is gained after downing a survivor who’s Blood sacrifice haven’t been claimed yet for the current stage of the Seance. Once all stacks are gained killer can bring them to the Seance circle and gain next stage of seance.


-      0 Stage of Seance:

·        Starting statistics of 110% movement speed, 24meter terror radius, no space distortions.

·        Basic Claw of entity (1 charge)


-      1 Stage of Seance (2 blood sacrifices):

·        Statistics change to 105% movement speed, 32meter terror radius, space distortions appear.

·        All generators explode for 15% of their progress.

·        Claw of entity gains 1 additional charge.


-      2 Stage of Seance (3 blood sacrifices):

·        Statistics change to 100% movement speed, 40meter terror radius, space distortions are maxed.

·        All generators explode for 30% of their progress.

·        Claw of entity gains 1 additional charge.

·        Killer gains new ability the Cripple as long as the seance is at stage 2.


-      3 Stage of Seance (4 blood sacrifices):

·        All remaining survivors are sacrificed to the Entity wherever they are.


-      Survivors can enter the basement and tamper with the Seance. If the survivor channels for 30s on stage 1 and 60s on stage 2 seance’s progress is decreased by 1 stage. Once the channel is completed the seance’s stage is lowered and cultist loses all stacks of blood sacrifice.


2.  The Claw of Entity (use on M2)

-      Using the M2 button causes a 3s channel that will move Cultists hand into pointing position summoning a claw of entity in a small space (around the Freddy’s snare size) in area inside their LOS. (the channel doesn’t cause a slowdown)

-      Cooldown between gaining charges of the claw is 6s starting with the full channel of the claw. Cooldown between uses of the claw is 2s.

-      The claw rises from the ground after 2s (small dark fog circle animation seen by both sides) and stays there for 6s blocking the path (the claw has collision and acts as a wall).

-      If a survivor stands inside or very close to the ground marked by the claw they are instantly put into the dying state.


3.  The Cripple (secondary power on Control button)

-      Is gained only at stage 2 of the seance with 30s cooldown.

-      After 3s channel all survivors within LOS of the Cultist are affected by The Cripple for 30s. (the channel doesn’t cause a slowdown)

-      Causes survivors to be unable to see the dark fog caused by the claw of entity.

-      Causes exhaustion, oblivious, and hindered status effects (decreases survivors movement speed by 5%).


4.  Space distortions

-      Once Seance reaches stage 1 space distortions start to appear around the map. After reach stage 2 of seance the amount of space distortions is increased.

-      Space distortions are spawned directly under hooks and are directly tied to them. If the hook is broken the space distortion is disabled as well.

-      If the cultists comes to contact with space distortion and stands in it while looking directly at another space distortion (while standing in space distortion all other space distortions are highlighted) he’ll be teleported in 3s of looking at it.

-      Space distortions that are being used by the killer give visual and audible warning of the teleportation.
