Idea To Make Decisive Strike A 100% Fair Anti-Tunnel Perk

So, as far as the premise of the perk goes, I fully endorse it, have no issues with it and think it belongs in DBD. However, the abusable aspects of the perk do require looking into. My idea for the DS changes are pretty simple: DS only activates if the killer puts you into the Dying State during a chase. So, if the killer performs a grab whilst a chase is ongoing then DS is activated and an escape skill-check is triggered. Inside a chase, if they down you, and pick you up in the DS timer, it activates and you get the skill-check like normal. If you intend on abusing DS like people do currently, ie climb into a locker so the killer is either forced to grab you out of it and eat DS; leave you alone; or waste time trying to mindgame you out of it and down you; you're out of luck, because if you're in a locker and the chase ends, DS won't activate if the killer grabs you out of it. So to be clear:

- DS has a 40/50/60 second timer once off the hook.

- DS only activates if you are put into the Dying State during a chase.

-- Downed or grabbed outside of a chase does not cause the perk to activate. This, I feel, would remove the abusable aspect of DS and make it a 100% complete anti-tunnel perk.

    Hell no, this is too good of an idea. It makes way too much sense. Why can't I force the Killer to lose his momentum because I'm bad at Survivor? I also need to be able to pull off my sick locker plays for those montages.

    Doesnt make any sense. Chases are by far too inconsistent and easily avoided to trigger by several killers. Would also only lead to moonwalking to avoid chases. Legion reloaded.

    @LetsPlayTogether no it wouldn't, if a killer moonwalks you, as soon as he turns to hit you the game will register the chase in the second before it connects. Plus, if you're vsing a killer like Huntress or Plague, if they are tunneling you from a distance, force them to enter a chase with you or just simply waste their time for the full minute by not giving them the angle to get a hit. If a killer wants to waste 60 seconds not pressuring gens and hooking other survivors then they are rubbish and will lost the match. Current DS punishes a killer for more than just tunneling in it's current state.
